I know! It sucks they're gone because now things just aren't the same! D8 i don't know if you live in the states, but if so, do you remember Yogi Bear Camp Resort in Spokane? That's one of the main things I miss. Then they closed it and turned it into a private camp resort called something Springs or something like that. I was like broken hearted when that happened. :,( lol but on the bright side we still have things to remember the good days by! Like SNES! N64! ETC.! lol sorry for the paragraph

Saturdays for me are '90s nights. I say screw you to my iPod, computer, cell phone, etc. and make popcorn and drink apple juice while watching the '90s are all that and then playing '90s games all night. Best day of the week for me. Keeps millions of memories alive. :)

Thsi isnt overworld theme this is the team of level 1.

I've beaten this game so many times but it's always a pleasure to go back and revisit. Not really for nostalgic reasons. (I never had SNES as a kid.) but just because Super Mario World is always a wonderful game!! Nice inclusion of the change of music when riding Yoshi too!
If my childhood could have a theme song, this would most deffinetly be it. Remember those afternoons of sitting in our den watching mom play this.

so many memories from when i was young in the early 90s :)
Brings back memories of when I was three in Christmas of '93. Back then, all I played was my older sister's NES, but when I was given a huge box with my first console inside with loads of accessories, I screamed with joy. This was the first game I played while my dad kept pestering me to shut it off and watch him play with the Super Scope. The SNES was and always will be MY first gaming console.

My gripe about the music of this game is that it uses the same melody line (or at least part of it) in almost every single track. You hear it in the caverns, both of the overworld themes, the castles, and even the ghost houses. I don't know how I feel about that. :/

@Arc13 THIS GAME IS SO FUCKING AWESOMER BUY IT NAO!~!!!1! No, no. It's definitely worth buying if you enjoyed the original Super Mario Bros. It expands on the same concept with better graphics, better music new power ups, new levels and a lot of secret paths to find and explore.
Craziest thing, I've played every Mario, from Bros to Wrecking Crew to Galaxy 2 to Land 2 to Hotel, yet I've never touched this one. Worth downloading onto my Wii? And please, actually give me reasonings and explanation, not "OMFG GAMES SO AWESOME I LOVE IT SO F**KING MUCH!" Please and thank you. :)
I still wish they included the updated Super Mario World in Super Mario All Stars for the Wii. I suppose it was to keep Virtual Console sales going.
