The best of the series. The first 4 were solid, someday I will try 5 but 6 doesn't appeal to me.
@Amanda Drummond 5 was bad. we rented it from blockbuster and when it came time to return it, I never rented it again. Real shame, too...
+Nedoxu It was different from all the other BoF's, but I liked it.
@Red Kopler I don't know if I was just too young at the time, but I reallly REALLY couldn't get into the transformation system.
Aside from your 'time limit' i felt transformation was the same as the other games: you became a badass. Well, each to their own i guess. I personally loved the gritty atmosphere, and the unique battle system. I've only seen similar ones in Hyperdimension Neptunia and Valkyria Chronicles.

if crapcom can take there freaken heads out of there asses and make another Breath of Fire game and not another fighting game or anything eles ill be happy. its like all they care about now games that involves DLC. its so freaken hard to like them anymore. such a shame.

Really loved this game. 3 was a bit better tough, espicially the dragon system in 3. Wonderful soundtrack!. Have heard negative views on this game from time to time. makes me wonder why :P

@bledevik Actually the genre hasn't died at all. It's that a certain Japan keeps them all in a certain Japan somewhere. I'm not naming which Japan is keeping them hidden from which planet, and I'm not naming on said planet where said Japan is keeping them. All I'm saying is sharing is caring.

Simple, beautiful, nostalgic. I've always been a fan of this melody. I really love the game's art as well. This is a game I should replay someday, I find it pretty underrated.
