I'm not a fan of the fact that every time a piece gets deleted, we lose all record of what it was. You could at least write them down somewhere where we could see them.
Except the dungeon theme, i couldn't get into the Zelda II soundtrack.
This is not a bad tune. This is a classic masterpiece on which many triple AAA titles based their musical compositions on.
Do you still remember what VGM 919 was? Think that was skipped.

I agree this game was terrible difficult. I think the designers also thought so. And they created LTTP, one of my favorite games. Favorite is OOT. But I liked this game also, it was difficult, but I liked it. One other of my favorites is Faxanadu, its the same engine, and it's great! The music and the graphics!
I liked this game, i was a huge fan of the first Zelda, the second was different, and it was difficult! ... arggg. I liked it! I like a game thats a challenge, only when I am in the mood! I finished the game (only lucky too to use the use the trick at the last boss, without reading the magazines!) But I liked it when they continued the design from the 1e LTP is one of my favorites!

@SupraDarky i tried beating this game in like 2004, but failed miserably like my bro did by not beating the second palace, then in 2010 it was hard but i beat the game (without that cheap dark link trick)
@quietedchaos omg haha. the game was difficult enough. Anyone who has beaten this game deserves a medal and maybe a pay raise at work.
@Zekky85 I had to beat a rom version :( the invisible enemies part at the end isn't worth the frustration.
@kinosira I think Supra's preference is more atmospheric or background pieces. So maybe you just don't like those as much as battle music or orchestrated music, or something. I really like this one, and plenty of other pieces that Supra posts. I don't see how there has been a decline in that consistency.

@AmadeusKing puzzle wise i'd say you're right, but the monsters and bosses are so hard to kill for me! maxed out everything and still can't reach the damn great palace!

Im sorry to say this but Superdarky, your music choice seems to be getting worse these days. It's just my personal opinion
Must of been the 2nd or 3rd game I played and owned as a child. I think I completed this at the age of 7. Recieving a gold cart for my birthday was just amazing.
Personally I thought the game's difficulty is a little overrated. I find A Link to the Past much harder than Adventure of Link

@Zekky85 I didn't finish it as a kid, but I did when I tried again in my teens. It was a hard game I do admit.
This sounds... like it was in a Pokemon game??... yeah, that main hook definitely sounds like it's from a Pokemon game.

I wonder why Nakatsuka didn't compose more videogame music, I'm especially a fan of his work on this game. It had a really unique sound to it and this game wouldn't be the same without it. I'm still waiting to see what the Zelda 25th Anniversary will hold for us.
