I like this song, but NOTHING beats the boulder song from Crash Bandicoot 2. Those levels were TERRIFYING and the music was 50% of it. Levels where stuff chases you like the triceratops in 3 aren't the same without that music.
Hmm. Definitely not one of the best tracks from the series, but okay.
Although the Uncharted series are somewhat better than the everyday FPSs i gotta say; that doesn't make up for anything

@hydrolythe Because when it started (first 3 games), the Crash series was a PS1 exclusive. It was that way until Naughty Dog sold the franchise to other developers.

If there was a fight between Crash and Nathan Drake, Crash would win. Reason: Crash is fucking hyper as hell and spins all over the place, in all honesty, he'd win by scaring Nathan away xD

I absolutely LOVED this series...colourful, fast responding controls, charismatic characters, well-dessigned levels, so funny and addictive!!!...It's so sad how the franchise fell into oblivion... The decline started with PS2...snif snif...
I do not know if that game really exists, but in the past I played Crash Bandicoot XS for the Gameboy Advance. This is the reason why I do not know why they call crash bandicoot sony's mascot.
I remember the very first warthog level. I got stuck on it for MONTHS as a kid (Yeah, I suck at videogames. Got a problem with that?). When I finally beat it, I got so happy I broke half of the stuff in my room. Ah, good times.

Spyro, Mario, Crash Bandicoot, Banjo-Kazooie, and Sonic. What do they all have in common? Games that used a very simple platforming formula to very great effect. My suggestion? Epic platformer battle-royale! Or EPBR for short. Not quite as catchy as SSBB. Or EPA, which would totally shut it down for one modern man causing harm to an endangered species, a bush creature, a symbiotic hybrid, and a rarely-seen-running breed of mammal.

Crash Bandicoot 3 was one of the best platformers on any system
@ShadowPhazonv2 Yeah. Wrath of Cortex was ok cause it stayed with the formula. I actually liked that one. But the rest are a different story.

I remember watching my friend play this level. About 10 years later I bought the game myself and this was one of the themes I still remembered. My friend has moved away and I'm not exactly good at playing platformers anymore, but I still have fond memories of spending time with Crash Bandicoot.
I loved this stage. Well I liked the stages where you rode on animals in general. Like the polar bear in the 2nd game. But yeah, this was a nostalgia attack.
Man, oh man. I still can't believe the front man from DEVO did the music to Crash and Rugrats. No wonder I like DEVO.
@Katana991 Twinsanity, although it had its fair share of flaws, was a very nice game, but it was short and buggy at times. It's still considered the best of the non-Naughty Dog games.
@SupraDarky Question is, why wasn't Crash left with them? Naughty Dogs record (Crash, Jak and Daxter, Uncharted) is spotless..!

Oh Crash...you are the very personification of my carefree youth now totally gone and forgotten. I met a lot of good people through this guy. (IRL) Now that he's been reduced to crappy game status he's lost his charm like I lost many of these friends I met. Sad sad times.....But good music still carries on.

@streatz11 Maybe Naughty Dog could get bought out by Nintendo, and finally port Mother 3 to the 3DS (MAHZA SREE DEEE!!!) and bring back Crash Bandicoot on it as well.

I was always more of a Nintendo guy but I had the PSOne with the first two games... I forgot about how good the music was until I saw this video on my subscription screen. And then the memories came flooding back.

This may have been the first PS1 game I ever played...
It's tough to say Crash was Sony's mascot back in the day since Sony had so many damn mascots... Crash Bandicoot Spyro The Dragon Solid Snake Lara Croft Cloud Strife PaRappa The Rapper Sweet Tooth Sony's always been confusing on the topic, what with also having later with PS2 Sora, Jak & Daxter, Ratchet & Clank, Kratos, Dante, & Sly Cooper. And NOW we also have to the list Nathan Drake, Sack Boy, Nathan Cole, Helghast, & Zack Fair. MAKE UP YOUR MIND SONY. WHO IS YOUR MASCOT?
Hey Supradarky, what are your favorite 8-bit town themes, i've recently heard the town themes for Castlevania 2 and Zelda 2 and they were both fantastic. Great song from C.B. by the way.

Crash was epic until Naughty Dog stopped making games for it. Now it's just a piece of shit with "comedy" and terrible gameplay. Seriously, Activision, what the fuck are you doing?!
THIS GAME WAS THE BEST sadly I never got all the gems and beat it because it was decently hard in some spots, and I was little :(

I remember played this game when I was... oh man, was I like 8 or 9 at the time? Time sure flies by. Great piece of the Crash Bandicoot games. Loved the first 3.
IMO the series wasn't terrible after Naughty Dog let go. It was good until Crash of the Titans.
I mean, were the Crash games after Crash 2 bad? 1 and 2 (and CTR) are the only ones I've played, and honestly, the only thing I can imagine is that it's just too much of the same thing. btw, this song is pretty spiffy. *nods head*
