WHOA this is great. I've never played a single Wild Arms game -- in fact, I'd never heard of the series until I found SupraDarky's playlists -- but they're clearly blessed with fantastic tunes.
Most of this playlist is obscure JRPGs. Wild Arms is actually one of the better known ones. I think most people find out about it through Supra - Best VGM 01 is the Town theme from WA1, after all.
I never heard of this series until an anime called Symphogear! Fell in love with Symphogear's music... so I searched for more of the group ELEMENT GARDEN's work... and here I am! Definitely check out Symphogear if you enjoy this kind of music.

I was listening to the list in the background, when this suddenly came up. I immediately recognized it as Wild Arms, even though I have never played any of the games. It's just that your list has shown me how awesomely amazing the Wild Arms music is!

Music in this game seems quite solid, in fact, throughout the entire series. I really need to take a break from current games and start going through the massive pile of PS2 games I have.

If you use your imagination, this song sounds like it would go great in a Street Fighter game. Perhaps a decisive battle vs. Vega(claws).

@SupraDarky Then it sounds like perhaps it could take the FF route(after their creator left after 10), but it all depends on who stays on the team. Afterall, most of the Chrono Trigger team wasn't on board for Radical Dreamers or Chrono Cross yet those were still good because the lead storey man Masato Kato and the composer Yasunori Mitsuda stuck around and are admist the only 6 to have been with the whole series. Just have to wait for Sony to get into the old school habit.(everyone does)

@Arc13 Yeah it's not officially dead, which is why I can still hope for a WA6. The news that really started this whole "Could Wild Arms be dead?" discussion was when Akifumi Kaneko, the creator of the series, left Media Vision to start his own company.

@bregowine Playstation Network has it available for download for only $5-6. Guarenteed, cheap, HD, it's a good way to get it. Same rules apply to Wild Arms 2 as well. However 3,4,and 5 are PS2 so you won't find those on there. But yeah, look for most any Sony made game from the PS1 generation and you'll find it there. Only exception I think is Legend Of Dragoon, that's more of a "good luck" in terms of finding it.
@SupraDarky I don't think you read my comment earlier. Please refer to your latest uploading from Wild Arms 4 Port Ailinton & look for the most liked comment. If you don't feel like going over there for a long description, "No series is ever truly dead." It's all a matter of how long it is between entries. I've noticed a nice little pattern every company takes. Let a series die(a series, not a single entry game), and then it gets revived 10 years later. For some reason 10 is the magic number.
These games look really good. One of the few more convincing playstation titles. Kinda envy that.

@SupraDarky Have you tried WildARMS XF? It's not a numbered one, but it's apart of the series.
I think this plays in in on of those towers near the end, probably the fire one. By this part I was already ridiculously overpowered : /

I'm playing this game for the first time, very solid so far. Fun battle system, nice dungeons and their puzzles, an overworld and of course a great soundtrack. I do miss Naruke's contribution though. As I go through it I can't help but think this might be the last new WA game I ever play. I really hope we see a WA6 someday.
