To me, this game is more memorable than FF7.
Great theme to set sail on an adventure
You spend a lot of time listening to this song in the early game and it really never gets old.
I love how I wandered into a game store when I was like 12, saw a cover for this, thought to myself "I've never heard of this before, but it looks like my style of game so what the hell, I'll give it a shot". Turns out to be one of the best RPGs on the PSX and probably the best one in the series too.

When I imagine a town where you start out at level 1, this music instantly comes into mind

@BrokenSynapsis Dude, 2002, seriously. You should have just done a little google or ask in some forums, Grandia is one of the most well-known RPG from the 32/64bits era. You would have had a reply really quickly.
@xenotypos I would have totally done that except for the fact that it wasn't totally on my mind nor one of my top priorities. My only memory of this game came from playing a demo of this way back when. I just got it from the PSN store not that long ago and have yet to play it.

Grandia one was the best of series Grandia 2 had some amazing soundtracks and Grandia 3 set the standard for fast gameplay in a RPG tunrbase game!!!Awesomeness now where is Grandia 4..ANYONE!!!?...

I remember playing this on the demo disc from OPM I have from years ago. Never got a physical copy of the game, but I've downloaded it from the Playstation Store. Great game.

This theme sucks, like alot of themes from this game. Hell, I think the only theme I actually enjoyed was the Boss battle theme, which sounded epic.

The start of this reminds me of a chrono cross town theme. Can't remember the name of the town though :S It's the one near the begining where you get to find your partner to enter Viper Manor.

I didn't like Grandia 3 at all. I thought the story was one of the worst I'd ever seen in an RPG. The beginning started out cool, but it quickly turned into a letdown. I'd rather they make a new Lunar game (a good one).
