I played this game like a year ago. I found the game just ok (defintely not bad, but it didn't amaze me). Regarding the soundtrack, I found it average also, except for 4 or 5 tunes which I did found AMAZING! As always, most of these songs had already been included in this amazing list :) You really have a nice test of music Supradarky!
The MIDI is done amazingly well here.
yeah, the acoustic guitar is pretty convincing for the most part. The slides are kinda what gives it away.

Twilight Princess was a major turning point for me. The story, the game play, the music, the graphics, all of it inspired me to work in video games. Now I'm working on multiple designs and not regretting a thing. So many fond memories with this game.
I wish this tune had been the main theme of Kakariko village rather than a one-time deal.

I found the TP of the darknuts to be some of the funniest enemies to fight against. Sure, they were harder than the other enemies, but they were a lot of fun to fight with sword vs. sword
Dude... The darknuts in this one made me shit brix are you kidding? I mean, sure I beat them all, but dang, I wasn't looking forward to it!!!
I wasn't a big fan of this game...as much of OOT and Windwaker. Not sure if it was different Dev that worked on it
Twilight Princess was OK I guess. I found it far too easy and there wasn't nearly enough Darknuts to satisfy my craving.

I see the faults, definitely. I make comparisons, and weigh every pro and con, within the series. You make an excellent point, but the key word I used, was "respect", not "ogle". A lot of people shut down Wind Waker, and for all the wrong reasons (i.e. 'deeerrp where's Hyrule' and 'hurr durr the animation sucks'), and those people are not worth this retort, because they can't RESPECT the game. There are WAY better LoZ's to date, but not seeing the flaws is, indeed, foolish.
I think if you're smart enough to see faults in a series even if it's a series you really love makes you more of a fan. Blindly liking every installment just makes you a fool. If Zelda isn't a good example for you then think about Sonic for a second. Does one really need to like every Sonic game to be a Sonic fan?

@20114D I didnt like SS as much as TP when I started playing it, truth be told. However after playing for about 10-15 hours it really grew on me and I realised how good it was, how well the game was designed and just how different it was while still being Zelda. It was shown much love for a 25th anniversary, not all games get that. Fi was cool, something different and more subdued after Midna's badass in your face attitude.
@20114D I actually think TP is still probably the best narrative, but I do have to admit SS has taken the lead for me. That game is a piece of architecture.

@BlaxxShadow I agree it needs a sequel. On the Zelda forums people tell me how bad TP is, but then I remember how good of a game it actually is, it was probably my favourite. Really digging SS as well, it's off beat for a Zelda game but it reminds me alot of OOT. I still need to play MM, but I might wait for the 3ds remake of that one.

@Pyro25100 im sorry if i offended you. i meant to say that nintendo games dont catch my attention as much as they used too. no DOUBT i loved playing those games i beat twilight princess in both game cube and wii! i still play pokemon and nice guess iam 16 also theres nothing wrong with that T_T most of the reason i stoped is i play fighting games now like BBCS, SSF4, TBR6, ect and not shitty FPS cant wait for smash bros and you have my respect for standing what you believe in... memories

You're never too old for nintendo, that fact that people can't realize that shows that this generation really is becoming more stupid... Looking at the picture and listening to this song reminds me that I've beaten Twilight Princess and that it's over...I really wish they made a sequel for it..like Majora's Mask.

I feel like playing TP again. But I will wait until the Christmas holidays. The idea of playing a Zelda game while being buried unter a warm blanket, drinking hot chocolate is wonderful.

The tune is nice, but Kakariko itself was a letdown in this game. Allthough the game was darker, the village seemed deserted and sad even when it was freed from darkness. The game needed a zone or two to break the dark and lonesome feel at times.

The main kakariko theme is my favorite song in TP, but this one is nice too =)
Personally, I liked the Hyrule Field theme the best. This is good music too though. I never played the Wii version though. I got the Gamecube version because I didn't have a Wii at the time. I should get the Wii version. Just for the reversed world.

If My little Bro Ever Gets off his lazy arse and starts playing more games, I'll play it after him. But first Golden Sun 3, Kirby Epic Yarn and Believe it Or not Okami, all need to be Started. I need to replay this game. Unfortunately, for me Twilight Princess wasn't memorable in any way.
I actually prefer this calmer and simpler rendition than the main Kakariko theme, which is also good though. I think I'll replay this game pretty soon, it's been almost 5 years already.
