1: Sonic Heroes 2: 2d games it's a tie between Sonic the Hedgehog 2 - Chemical Plant Zone and Sonic the hedgehog 3 - Ice Cap Zone Act 1 for the 3d games it's Sonic 06 - Solaris Phase 2 3: the one memory that sticks out is the stupid rising lava level in sonic heroes that I couldn't beat, I had to use Tails and I could never beat it as a kid. 4: Knuckles
1 - Fave Sonic game - Sonic 2 (closely followed by 3&K) 2 - Fave track - probably Mystic Cave, but there's so many greats! 3 - As a kid I wanted to *be* tails :p 4 - Tails, naturally, is the best!
1) Sonic the Hedgehog 2. Obviously!!! 2) For the 2D Games it will be always Green Hill Zone. For the 3D Games maybe the theme from Sonic 06. 3) Not any in special. 4) Sonic all the way!!
1) Sonic 3 & Kuckles (such a big, complete, deep game! Awesome levels, lots of secrets that encourage exploration, unlike the fairly straightforward level design of most subsequent titles, varied gameplay with different characters, bonus stages, items, etc. I love the chaos stages, and it even manages to tell a really interesting story without a single letter of dialogue! One of my favorite games of all time) 2) 2D - So hard to choose! But i guess Sky Sanctuary (Sonic&Knuckles). Also this one. I remember how beautiful Green Hill Zone looks when you had only ever played NES games before! 3D - Green Forest (Sonic Adventure 2) 3) So many with Sonic3 &Knuckles! I played it alot when my two brothers and two cousins were watching, and we had a blast discovering all the secrets.. i remember being amazed about the Super Emeralds, and the discover of Super Tails (since he gets nothing for the Chaos Emeralds) Also realizing how much different Sonic's endgame is from Knuckles (who i always played until i beat it with him) Also playing the hundreds of optional chaos stages! 4) I always was a huge Knuckles fan. He's still my favorite, but i don't like what they've done to him in the 3D games etc. Especially Sonic Boom where they made him a bulky meathead.

Sonic 2 was the first game I ever played.
1) Sonic the Hedgehog 3 - with Sonic and Knuckles add-on 2) Probably Zone 13 in the Death Egg, preferably act 2. If not it's Zone 10 in the Lava Reef. 3) Completing every file in order with Sonic and Tails, Sonic solo, Tails solo, and then knuckles. You could do each game play twice before each save file was filled. And then, one day I flipped it on and it was all erased. So lame. 4) I prefer Tails because of the flying, and you are a lot smaller playing as Tails.

Well i began with Sonic 1 and 2 (I had the two games at the same time), and for me the best is still by far Sonic3&Knuckles. Everything is so much better, so much crazier, this game was the climax of the Sonic saga. Btw, just a detail but in Sonic 2 it's super sonic, hyper sonic was only in S3&K (and still is as far as i know).
Knuckles will always be my fav. In Sonic 3, he seemed to be the "rebellious" one while Tales was soft and laid back. Sonic just liked his chilli dogs lol I do like the Dreamcast Sonic Adventures 1. It was fun. To me they made sonic cool but after Sonic Adventures......................the entire series went to shit
Sonic 2 was actually the first sonic game I played. So it's always be my favorite. Plus it has the best Soundtrack IMO. Memorable moments? Just about everything of Sonic 2 LOL! I probably beaten that game at least 7x...got all the emeralds remember those stages get REALLY tough especially for single players. Tales always ruined those stages since he always got hit... Hypersonic was a blast! The Metropolis Cave and that plant zone (3 long stages) but the music was fantastic! Pumped me up!!!
1.Favorite Sonic game? -I'm still have yet to beat Sonic Colors. So until then, SA2:Battle will be my favorite. 2. Favorite song? -Ooooh, dat Sonic Rush soundtrack...so hard to choose...I'm gonna have to say it's a tie between Wrapped in Black/Raisin' Me. 3. Memories/stories related to Sonic? -I remember when my older brother when we were little drew Sonic crying & walking down a stairwell. I was so blown by it, he got me drawing. It made me the artist I am today. 4. Favorite? C'mon, Sonic!

Sonic 4 isn't retro so it isn't played on an emu, so you can't savestate, but when you game over you don't repeat the entire game.
1. Tie between Sonic Heroes and Sonic Adventure 2: Battle. 2. Knuckles' stage themes from SA2B (Kick The Rock!, A Ghost's Pumpkin Soup, Dive Into The Mellow, and Space Trip Steps) 3. I remember before going to church with my grandma on Sundays, I would play with my chao on SA2B. I also remember being too scared to go past Pumpkin Hill because of the creepy ghosts so I didn't complete the game until last year. Still played it to death, though. 4. Used to be Knuckles, but now it's Sonic.

1. Hard to say; though I've always loved Sonic CD, for reasons I've explained below, I'm also partial to Sonic 2. 2. Sonic Boom brings back awesome memories for me. 3. I had a SNES, so the only Sonic I had was Sonic CD. My friend who lived next door had the Sega CD. He had an N64; so I would borrow his Sega CD and play Sonic, though I was bad at it. But then he moved and took the system with him, and I hadn't beat it. I didn't get a chance to do so until Sonic Gems Collection came out. 4. Sonic!

Indeed, it was this level theme that gives me fond memories of playing this game for the first time! :D BTW, the 3-D Sonic games are not bad at all; it just depends on how you play them. Just thank God that none them turned out as awful as "Mega Man Legends". ;)

As for 3D games, I'd have to say Sonic adventure was my favorite for music and gameplay. 2. Hard choices, there's a lot of good music that i like for different reasons. 1-Sonic the Hedgehog 2 2-Green Hill Zone 3-Sonic was the very first game I ever played back in 1993 (when I was 3) for the Master System, so this game means a lot to me. But Sonic the Hedgehog 2 for the Genesis was my best experience with the Sonic franchise, although I also enjoyed Sonic and Knuckles. I remember I used to say that I was Sonic in kindergarden and that was my nickname back then, lol. 4-Sonic is the fastest and coolest of them. Thanks for uploading the vid, SupraDarky.

SupraDarky, you're the best! My favorite game: Sonic 3 & Knuckles--It was sooo huge; all the different characters had different story paths; there was the epic final battle in the Doomsday Zone... And SUPER TAILS! Lame name, but he was bad ass. Favorite song: Oh, so many... I've recently fallen in love with the Sonic CD stuff (mostly the Japan version, but the other is good, too). It's just that it was such a great moment when I FINALLY discovered how to beat Carnival Night Zone Act 2, after so many years (we didn't have GameFAQs back then). And then, bang, awesome snow level with awesome music! 3 - Sonic 2 was the very first game I owned. Been hooked ever since. 4 - Well, Sonic!

The N64 had been out for a while, and that was nice, but this was the first time 3D graphics looked really slick. And think the game still looks great. Of course Sega's shot the series to Hell, but back then it looked fantastic. 4. Tails. You can't beat flying.

Back then I was the first one in my neighborhood to have the Sonic and Knuckles pack, and I would ALWAYS leave Sonic 3 in it. One day though, a kid brought Sonic the Hedgehog and he put it on, (I got my Genesis from my uncle and he gave me Sonic 2) that is when I found out of Blue spheres mode. A lot of games were addicted to that, it was like the Tetris madness.

1. Sonic the Hedgehog 2 would be my favorite, since it's the only one I've played. 2. I don't really know many of the songs, so I'd have to go with Green Hill Zone. Perhaps I should check out the rest. 3. I also only had Nintendo consoles growing up. The only chance I had to play the game was in the waiting room for the hairdressers I often went to as a kid - they had a Sega Genesis hooked up with a small TV. StH2 is the only game I remember playing there. 4. Sonic.

For 2D : Tied between Sonic 1- Dr. Robotnik's Theme (Boss) and Sonic & Knuckles- Lava Reef Zone Act I For 3D: Sonic the Hedgehog (2006) - Solaris Phase 2 3. Joining a crowd of older kids at my daycare watching and cheering for the kid playing Sonic & Knuckles. Everyone ended up getting stuck at Sandopolis Act II. 4. Sorry Sonic but Knuckles is mah boy! ^^
My favorite game is part 1. Love Sonic out of all the characters and the first stage music is something I loved since the first time I played Sonic on of all platforms, Game Gear. Laying in bed as a kid playing that level is a sentimental thing for sure.

On another note, I actually tried getting Knuckles into areas only available to Sonic and Tails and succeeded. I even got to the Carnival Night Zone boss with Knuckles. 4. Um... Sonic?

1. For 2D, it's either Sonic 2 or Sonic 4: Episode 1. For 3D, it has to be Sonic Unleashed (XBox360/PS3 version). 2. Where to start...there's too many! XD Either Star Light Zone from Sonic 1 or Hydrocity Zone Act 2 from Sonic 3 for 2D, and either His World from Sonic 06 or Endless Possibility from Sonic Unleashed for 3D. 3. Beating the final boss on Sonic 2 as a 3 year old, but NOT being able to beat it as a 10 year old. 4. Sonic and Tails equally. Never liked Knuckles that much.

A very good choice for #800. I really wondered what it is going to be. I would like to answer these questions,but sadly I only played one sonic game,and it was before many years. But then if I would answer it would be: 1. Sonic the Hedghog 2(the one I remember) 2.Can't really remember the music,so it would be this one 3.the nostalogic moment when I first saw the game. If it's one positive thing everyone can generally agree upon, its' that even the modern Sonic games have excellent music.

1) Close tie between S3&K and Sonic Adventure. 2) It constantly varies. But at the moment, Cosmic Wall (SA2) and Sky Deck a Go Go (SA1). 3) Finally beating the final boss of Sonic 2 after always failing when I was a child. SWEET VICTORY. 4) Knuckles. Hidden paths, climbing walls, gliding...and an awesome character design in general. A shame that the later 3D games flanderized him as an easily-tricked moron. :(

It always cheers me up. 3- I lived in my mother house where I had a SNES but when I went to my father house I played on my Sega Mega Drive. I can't forget the joy of having Sonic, Sonic 2 and Sonic 3 to play there. Sonic was a really important part of my childhood. 4- Tails. I like Foxes and she is a mechanical. SHE ALSO CAN FLY!

1. Sonic 3+K, although Sonic 2 has to come up at a close second. 2. Probably a tie between the Final Boss theme from Sonic 3+K and Hidden Palace. 3. The Sega Genesis was the first system I ever saved up money to buy, at over 100 dollars (and this was when I was like, 6 or so, so I saved up a lot). It came bundled with Sonic 2, so that ended up being my first Sonic game as well. 4. Tails.

I got it right! It IS video game music! 1.) Sonic The Hedgehog 2(Sonic Adventure would be the winner if not for a certain Cat in that game). 2.) Easy. Wrapped In Black. I can't stop listening to it, well over 100 times in a row and finally added it to my own VGM list. 3.) Sonic's always been big for me. Specially since we're the same age! Me & Sonic in fact seem to share many momentous occasions...almost like I'm his human twin...not Chris. 4.) Knuckles(I must admit, also love Blaze).

In Sonic's mode the final encounter with Knuckles was epic, to me it was the first time there'd be some cinematic with knuckles helping out Sonic and getting back his Master Emerald. I can't say too much, but I have two Sonic memories. A) The first game I remember anyone playing was one of my mom's cousin's playing a sonic game (not sure which one) B) me realizing that my baby brother liked Sonic. I was playing Brawl, asked him to pick my character, and he picked Sonic!
