This reminds of a certain trip to Egypt with the goal to kill a vampire... and I'm not talking about Castlevania.
I remember when my mom had a bunch of spirit flowers sucking her life away making he go to egypt with my grandpa, his egyptian friend, a frenchman and my school buddy to Egypt to kill a vampire that gave me a magical punching ghost that can also stop time. Good times

I think blood relations from sotn, throne fights from aos and rear garden from loi are most underrated (i've played only about 7 castlevania games, though)

@XxlionesxX Depend on specs? my laptop can run latest PC games on optimum setting without any lag, No$gba emulator rarely lags but desemu lags like hell while recording and that is not cool, anyway I am talking about portability you can't pop out your High spec laptop during a boring lecture and play castlevania, NDS allows that to happen ;)
@XxlionesxX anyway I can play castlevania on the go with my NDS and emulators still lag anyway yet if you are die hard fan of castlevania and can bear the lag then emulators are just fun (I still use emulators since DS don't let you record gameplay -_-')

@brunoguitardreamer in fact beside the DS version there are two more!...this one from the CD Casrlevania 20th aniversary premium music collection and Castlevania Harmony of Despair...but my favorite are the DS version and HOD version...this one...not so much!
@brunoguitardreamer There is 2 different versions (I think). There's the OST version (which this is) and there's the version on the DS.

As long as konami keeps releasing Castlevania games like this every once in a time to please long time castlevania fans like me they can do whatever they want with the meain games. (Turn it into some sort of FPS I dont care. I can still play great ttles like this one, Symphony of the night or the first Castlevania.)

@redwaller66 Not really, it's like Castlevania... it's a sidescroller/platformer and illusion of gaia if i remember correctly (I haven't played that game in like 10 years) is sort of a top down view, more like the early zelda games. This game, aside from some cosmetic diffrences and controlling two characters, is just another in a long string of DS Symphony of the Night remakes. So no, this game isn't very similar in story, theme or gameplay. But thanks for reminding me of that great old game!

My favorite from portrait of ruin! One of the best ever. My top four are the Richter Theme, Hail To The Past, Pitch Black Intrusion, and of coure the original Castlevania Theme. Thhanks! ^^

Nope, Yuzo Koshiro composed 5 tracks for this game: Dance of Sadness, The Gears Go Awry, Invitation of a Crazed Moon, Banquet of Madness and Destroyer. The others are Yamane's work.
