My sprites look very similar to the sprites in Scott pilgrim I’m not trying to copy tho in about a couple of months I’ll post my progress of the game on my channel.

Yep, still holds up. Immediate feelings of nostalgia flashing back to playing this game at my old apartment when it first released and loving overtime this particular track played. Such a fun game to play with an awesome soundtrack and a highly underrated and entertaining movie behind it.

I've heard some great soundtracks. Mutant Mudds... 3D Dot Game Heroes... Super Mario RPG to name a few. But this game... this game's soundtrack is incredible. You know what... Another Winter, from Scott Pilgrim The Game, composed and arranged by the legendary Anamanaguchi, is officially my favorite VGM of all time.

For whatever reason, the game always froze for a few frames and the music stuttered at 1:13. And it actually made the songs better IMO. Like an 8bit drum riff.

I regret this, mainly cause I have a friend whom has had an Xbox 360 for much longer, so I could have probably signed into his through a different account to buy it there and then have it for the future. The NES had a sampling rate of around 7.8729 khz, no matter how much HIFI your sound systems is, is not gonna sound CD quality. Also, when the NES cameout almost no TV had AV inputs, most connections were RF. That means, TV speakers, I can assure you, the game composers had this on mind, just as the graphic guys had in mind the Aspect ratio and the graphics were taller

It just wouldn't work on an NES though. The game is too powerful for that. It's like trying to run Portal 2 in it's current state on a Gamecube. It would have to graphically devolve first. Also, the saves were kept on the cartridge itself, so it'd probably have to work with a password system to move to cartridge number two.
Thats why it would be a double cartridge game. You have to put in the second cartridge in order to complete the game lol. Assuming they even had game saves back then.

@alek21496 It's definitely 8-bit. The way they do it is they have an original NES rigged up with their amplifiers to output all sound coming from their instruments into that format.

None of you could possibly know how much I love this fucking game. I grew up on side-scrollers like Streets of Rage 2, River City Ransom, and fuck load more that I won't be able to fit here. However, this game has totally captured the fun essence a 2d game like this one should. By the way, this song is fucking awesome! @sora412zx I don't quite understand what you meant, but if you go to youtuberepeater (just add repeater in at the top to go to the current video), the video will restart when it gets back to the beginning. I put 1:17 so you could change the loop time at the bottom, cuz at the end the sound fades, and i thought around 1:17 sounded like the part where it looped, so if it sounded kinda wierd you may just want to leave it alone. Loving the game so far, I'm sure it won't get old too soon.

@alasanof I know I'm not SparaDarky, but it was always ment for both systems Ubisoft and Sony made a agreement to have it on the PS3 first thats all, pretty much any game thats is downloadable and is not own by Microsoft, Sony, and/or Nintendo will eventually make it to other systems later on.

Supradarky, I would like to thank you. A while back I picked up a book called Scott Pilgrim's precious little life. I only glanced at it, and I never bought it. I remember that it had a distinct art style that I loved and it felt inspirational to me, despite only being there for a few seconds. After listening to this, I just went out and bought the book. I now have all the inspiration I need for my type of art style. In addition, you just introduced me to Anamanaguchi. SupraDarky, I thank you.
This song is played in the first world. Since this game harks back to old school beat-um-ups and 8 bit games in general i always saw a trend in those games. Usually the first level or first world song was always either kick ass or really uplifting, to get you pumped up for the rest of the game.
