I hear two voices at the same time. A chipmunk-like voice, and an opera-like one. Hrm
The white darkness? Makes me think of the manga Togari.

@TheRealVordox Taking a look at a few videos, including trailer. Yep, it's like a mix of Gradius and Touhou with medieval senses :P The gameplay looks fun, even with that in mind.
Looks ALOT like Touhou just from the side instead of above. Doesn't seem to be a bullet hell from the side though. Might take a look at it later on, don't have a Xbox360. The song sounds quite depressing. >.>
Shouldn't "Deathsmiles IIX" be "Deathsmiles VIII"? Because that's how you write 8 in Roman numerals.
Ok, this is really too much of a coincidence for me. I was checking out the sales figures in Japan for recent games on Kotaku, and I found Deathsmiles IIX on the list somewhere pretty high. Then I tried to look up the soundtrack and failed. Then I come onto youtube and saw that you uploaded this. Thanks!~

The first game in this series will be released this month in the US. It's an arcade style shoot 'em up, Cave are masters of that genre. Reading reviews of that game, it seems like it's one of the best shooters ever. This song though is from the sequel that just got released in Japan.
