Oddly enough I enjoyed this game before I really started listening to music. Playing this again after the fact added an extra level of enjoyment :)

@JESSIEEDSELL21 its actually because you only hear about the good games from failed systems. everyones forgotten about the bad ones, which were much more common. nothing special about failed systems, just selection bias. cheers
@JESSIEEDSELL21 People have started to recognize their roots in the world of retrogames, and they may want to pay some homage to them. I, on the other hand, have never owned classic or "failed" systems, but I want to know where it all started from, anyway. I can't probably enjoy them the same way kids back then did (and someone might bash me for that), but I can enjoy them nevertheless.
why is i that failed systems always have a charm to them? dont get me wrong im not saying the genesis was a failure it was by no means a failure but im saying that this game was released when the genesis wasnt to popular back in 89 the genesis didnt take off until 91 it seems that the game early on for genesis had a charm that couldnt be beat.

@Iwannaplayssbb You gotta admit, the Smooth Criminal scene was worth seeing the movie for. That one part made up for the rest of it.

When playing this game: don't stop till you get enough...or just beat it.
My friend had some cheap computer speakers a while back. I showed him this game via an emulator and we could actually feel air blowing out of them when "Smooth Criminal" came on. POINT OF THE STORY: This game had some killer bass. : D

I only recently realized that Billie Jean is in GTA Vice City. And I've been playing that since 2007...guess I don't listen to Flash FM enough. I can't believe how great the 16-bit versions of his songs are.

I remember going at my friend's house around 1991 to play his genesis games, including this one. Billie Jean's always been my favorite MJ song, though I love tons of his music in general.
