interesting. definitely one of the most intelligent comments I've read on this site.
I love Katamari Damacy, and Namco for that matter, but I feel like the series might be PARTIALLY intended if not mostly to encourage the consideration of the Big Crunch theory (the ultimate fate of the universe, gravity's cannibalistic, doomed nature) with the "kiddie-ness" used mainly as a sarcasm device to encourage acknowledgement of the eeriness of that.

Katamari Damacy music always brings a smile to my face. I can't help but feel happy when listening to it. I especially like the parts like at 1:38, it's catchy and I love the soothing female voice in the background.
