This should be on Sea of Thieves. Even though I’ve never played it, it seems fitting.
Thumbs up if you put down your controller and celebrated the first time you saw the Kredits...only to die because you couldn't grab your controller and recover quickly enough. Of course, even after you knew better you still got your ass handed to you over and over because that last part was hard even without being punked by fake kredits.

One of my biggest gaming accomplishments was snagging that blue balloon before it floated away in Snow Barrel Blast by timing the barrels perfectly. That was a good day.

I like DKC2 overall, in pretty much every aspect, but this version beats the DKC2 version IMO. David Wise is a fucking genius.

OMG that made me so mad when I was a kid. I was a total mini grammar nazi back in the day, and was wondering wtf that question mark was for (I wasn't the sharpest knife in the coloring box back then, so I didn't realize the credit were fake XD). Then he gets up and one-shots me when I was only left with Diddy Kong. I raged. I raged as much as a little kid could without throwing a temper tantrum.

@TrueYankeeFan For the original SNES version after you had beaten him the credits would roll but he would get back up stronger than before. After you beat him again then the real credits begin.
This was one of my favourite themes in this game, I would replay the last fight just to hear this theme and drag it out.

I remember this! XD Being the big bro I had all my sisters and little bro in my room cheering for me when I fought this beast...And then I lost and lost my cool as well so I threw all of my siblings outta my room :P Young and angry ^^ But I felt bad afterwards and invited them back and that's when I defeated K. Rool, then the credits rolled with the music playing....And my tears rolled down because I realized that I had finished an awesome game :,( Good times...

Easily my favorite track from this game. I love how it lulls you with the opening just to hit you with some throbbing beats after 20 seconds.
You know why Youtube got rid of the star ratings? Not even 100 stars could state how epic something like this is.
Better late than never. This and Pokey Means Business are the finest pieces of final boss music on the SNES.

I'm not so much for the games, but I still would play 'em just for the music. By the way, the remake in DKC2 is almost better, it doesn't have the bossy part, but the first part is so great! 5/5

One of the most awesome boss battle themes of all time. It starts out all light and fluffy then gets all dark and eerie for the final showdown. Stuttering Craig put it quite well.

The classic boss music against K. Rool composed by David Wise. For some reason I've always loved that little pirate-like melody at the start before it builds up into a more intense final boss theme.
I wouldn't be surprised if this game's entire soundtrack eventually ended up on this list as time goes by.
This is the Highlight of this game, it's amazing how it builds up just like the fight with the big baddie, King K Rool. It keeps the tension high while he throws his crown, jumps up and down, and has cannonballs fall on you, this song is etched into my brain since I was a kid.
