God, words can not describe how much I love this character.
To me, this is such a bland song. Then again, I'm not a fan of MGS in general :s.
When I was younger maybe around 10 (I'm 22 now) I used to thing that this song was fuelled by nightmares.. Turns out that I wasn't that far off the mark because I still get chills listening to this track. But I love it.

nice! took me about a year to get through them all too. for the first run-through, mgs 3 was probably the most fun. actually probably the best overall, really..
Since I posted that comment I have beaten MGS1/2/3 and am currently on 4. I just reached Screaming Mantis.
It's an easy trick for drawings hands, one of the most notoriously difficult parts of the body to draw.
whats with the hands? they're drawn the same as in mega man, with the middle and ring finger together. I may have seen them elsewhere too. Do a google search for "mega man hands." Should be the first article.

@LinkMarioSamus Good question. I'm thinking maybe you'd have to turn on a second controller while the first is still active, and then play the fight with the second one.
@SupraDarky Well I haven't played any MGS game yet, but I hope to play through at least the original this year if not 2, 3, and Peace Walker (and 4, perhaps). Just a stupid question though: how would I defeat Psycho Mantis using the PS3? Would the same "change the controller port" strategy work?

This guy was scaring the crap out of me when I play this for the 1st time... (10 years ago). Agree with ya SupraDarky, but I'll add that this is one of the highlights in VIDEO GAMES in general! Such a tense and memorable fight... Confusing, touching, everything! *sigh gotta replay this someday...

@timodude1985 Took me forever to get the hint correctly. You had to die a few times before he said anything about it. XD But DAMN this boss was freaking hard without the port trick, And then Mantis go lunatic cause he can't read you. Silly Kojima.

Such an eerie piece. I remember roaming around and absolutely dreading the battle with Psycho Mantis. After a few minutes of getting my ass thoroughly kicked, I switched controller ports.
