I was reminded of this track when I heard "Up for the Challenge" in Final Fantasy XV's OST. This game is so underrated. Great world and music.
Sounds very similar to the eternal sonata battle theme
motoi sakuraba made the eternal sonata ost... well all the ones that were not already done by Chopin. The french horn,bass violin,and drawn out angelic vocals seem to be his bread and butter.

Good track but it played in a really annoying area, which spoilt it for me a bit. Fun fact, its name in the in-game song viewer is "Rolling Rivers, Rolling Clouds."

Is it me or does 1:11 sounds like Tales of Symphonia Dawn of the New World used that excerpt for its boss theme?
Definitely one of the greatest area themes of all time.
I thought this song sounded similar to another game... Someone mentioned Valkyrie Profile, but I think it sounds like the main battle from Riviera ~ The Promised Land.

Motoi Sakuraba is so great. He's probably my third-favorite game composer behind Nobuo Uematsu at No. 2 and Yasunori Mitsuda at No. 1

around 2 years of not playing a game is enough time for me to feel nostalgic about hearing a piece of memorable music from a game. But that might just be me.

This reminds me of the same Trusty Bell song that made me think of Baten Kaitos and Tales of Symphonia combined.
