Yeah juggling has been in most fighting games over the years, but it was a small part. You'd get someone in the air and get 2, maybe 3 or 4 hits on. These days all the main combos are juggles, they're the focus of the combat systems, which they never used to be. And it's terrible.
uh... i hate to break it to you pal, but jugglings a gimmick in most fighting games, and its been around since the first tekken, 4 just used a different engine then the rest of them

When you use a 10 hit combo you don't always have to finish it. Why do you think Namco have 10 hit combos in all the Tekken games, if they are not suppose to be used? Namco making T1 practise mode: - We are almost done with practise mode, but somthing is missing :/ - I know, we have to put in 10 hit combos for all the characters that's totally useless *It makes sense* lol

After T5(T6/TTT2) the juggles went a little overboard thx to bound. Now players use sweep and launch all the time to get you in the air :/ Tekken players use only launch/sweep and fast mid/high/low hits these day. Throws,reversals,10 hit combos and normal attacks is almost gone or useless. But Tekken Revolution actually took away bound, so maybe Tekken 7 will include no bound, that means back to Tekken 5 gameplay style.
Great track, if you dnt like tekken juggles just learn to avoid them and counter with a combo/juggle of your own.
i have to agree with u and i've been an avid tekken player since 2. DOA has that too. the only fighting game that doesn't juggle is Street fighter. most combos rests making seem like ur being juggled

LOL, they dont give a fuck if you are a fan or not, they got many others to keep them busy, so don't flatter yourself dumbass. Also, if you're bitching about juggles, then you must be the one that just mashes and gets counter launched every time, not every gets launched, only you always get launched, that doesn't mean the game is all about launchers and juggles. If you wanna talk about juggles, almost every fighting game now has some form a juggle, why dont u go bitch on MVC3 videos.

Tekken Tag 2 Is in my opinion overall the best one yet. I love the originals, but this was great. Must buy for me.
I'm going to buy Tekken Tag 2 (although I really feel they should have released it 5 years ago) and I just know I'm going to hate it. Tag team juggles are bad enough on the otherwise awesome Street Fighter X Tekken and I'm not looking forward to being rendered unable to do anything for half a fight in the new Tekken game, I'm giving the franchise one more chance to try and keep me as a fan. But I'm not holding my breath.

Some juggles are easy to do, others are not. Tekken is still about the mind game aspect as I stated before. You (in general) as a player need to start predicting your opponent. there are several different ways you can defend against a launcher. Most hop kicks are actually bad if blocked because it leaves them wide open. If someone hop kicks you, Counter it with a very fast move. I love juggles in tekken personally, so I cant agree with you. Learn and see if there is a way to defend in b4 hating
You say learn how to defend against it. All it takes it for them to press up and circle and boom, they can start their juggle. So to defend against juggles I have to never get hit. Tekken wasn't like that before Tekken 5. It's not really the juggles themselves that irritate me (although they do) its more how easy it is to do them.
Actually thats terribly incorrect. I play tons of Tekken, and its getting more interesting each installment. If you rely on juggles you will lose.... Period. It is still about making your foe "choke" and make a mistake. That's what mix-ups and stuffs for. I still see a ton of "countering" such as the universal low parry. Perhaps you didn't play online enough to actually get a remotely good experience? If people have such a problem with juggling, why not learn how to defend against it?

Ah, this takes me back to the early 2000s.
My issue isn't with juggles being imbalanced at all. I think they are well balanced now with how damage scaling works. I just find it boring to be floating while my toes are being pounded on. With that said I utilize juggles to the fullest since its how the engine works

To people complaining about the juggle system... the bottom of the loading screen in Tekken 6 even says juggles can be used to maximize damage. :/ Play safe. Don't get juggled. Problem solved :D

wholly ridiculous. i've made points. good ones. ones that you've yet to refute, much less answer with anything other than nonsensical insults. in tekken 5 many characters could do massive damage off of one combo, and in older tekken games, 5-6 hits with any character usually ended a round. regardless, if all you're going to do is reply with insults and homoerotic fantasy, then don't bother to respond, as any further back and forth between us would be without value.
if you want to be and old school "purist" who thinks tekken should go back to 5-6 hits winning a round, or the "golden" era of tekken 5 where 5-6 combos still did roughly the same damage you're complaining about, that's fine, but don't hate on the new just because your strategy of...."ten hit bnb's" is nowhere NEAR as effective as it used to be....friggin ten hit strings....can't believe you, a tekken vet, sort THAT of all in things into your "viable tricks" bag.

not every match boils down to who can launch who first. honestly if you want to cling to the notion that three hits for half health is better than one juggle for 45%, that's up to you. and to be even more frank, if you're getting hit with 60-70% juggles, you deserve it.i've played the every game in the franchise from tekken 2 and can honestly say that i like where tekken is at right now. as do most people who support it. and friend? fucking really? if you don't knock it off with that bullshit...
Patterned juggling matches is shit. It basically becomes a Yugioh-esque turn based game to see who manages to launch the other guy first, then its the same fuckin follow up combos every time until one dies. It's pathetic. The first guy was right, and if you dont agree and you call urself a tekken vet, you lack principals, friend.
Totally agree. For the first time since I started on tekken 1 im actually considering making the jump to another fighter. Too bad they all suck balls. Cant standing the juggling/bounce/floorbreak juggle/tag juggle mechanism tekken's become. Total bs man.

Yeah it is now, and it shouldn't be. You used to be able to get just a couple of hits on a juggle, now it's half your opponent's health bar. It's no longer about trying to force your opponent into making a mistake and reversing/countering, it's about who gets a shitty launcher on first. Tekken has changed and I'm sad to say for the worse (unless you enjoy spending half of a fight in mid air totally helpless).

Tekken TAG best one of em all in my opinion and this song was not the only good thing about T4... Steve Fox was a big upgrade to the game for me

I'd pretty much recommend all tekken 3, but really you should put the tekken tournament character select up here.
