Some people talk about it being boring going up towns in rpgs. I love it if you ask me, taking in the sights, talking to people, getting news items, etc. All whilst listening to music like this.

This game needs to be ported to PC or something. The rest of this soundtrack is also amazing.
Reminds me of Legend of Dragoon a bit... Numara is like a mix of Luca from FFX and those castle towns and world map theme on Disc 2 of Legend Of Dragoon.

I thought I was the only one who noticed that.
The only thing that bugged me about this game is the color pallet, Uhras capital seemed like it got the Gears of War filter. Especially in Numara everything just seemed too uniform, It was like the whole game was put under a certain filter depending on the area. Not a fan of that "style" but other than that easily one of the best JRPG's this gen.
If you don't mind me asking, where did you find/get the background image of this video from? This art of Numara is in the strategy guide but I've been looking for digital versions of the environmental concept art from Lost Odyssey and haven't been able to find any yet.

i happend to just pick up the game when i saw it. it looked interesting. does any one no any other games on the xbox 360 that are turn based and rpg?
I don't get how the battle system can be boring ... Unless you don't like RPGs....
this game was really dissapointing IMO. Battle system was just boring, and the story tried to be both serious and silly at the same time and completely failed at either. Only part I really liked was the short stories.

I just remember this song cause so far in the game its the only town in which I've had to read about 4 or 5 dreams. This song played so much, its so familiar to me now. Plus, its a really chill part of the game, how could I not sit and appreciate the music?
If I ever get an XBOX 360, I'll definately make sure to get this one.
The entire LO Soundtrack is awesome. The purchase was definitly worth it.

The soundtrack of this game is amazing. One of the best I've heard recently with Super Mario Galaxy and Valkyria Chronicles.

I'm not a big fan of Uematsu or this particular tune, but the sound quality really stands out to me here for some reason.
