Sry to hear that dude! Hope you enjoyed it though. Especially nowadays it commands some really outrageous prices if u r looking for a sealed/mint copy of it. It's definitely one of the few titles i'd totally want to see an hd remaster or at the very least a virtual console release of.

This game is a fantastic rpg, a brilliant sequel to the fantastic Paper mario, and the last REALLY good paper mario.

1 word; punis. That was the kinda off-beat chapter of TTYD. PM64 didn't have any off chapters. Every time I replay TTYD, chapter 2 kinda drags on for a while. Dont get me wrong, it was fun the first time, but afterwords it really loses its magic pretty fast, especially compared to chapter 3. PM64 keeps you page-turning cover to cover no matter how many times you play it.
the 3 gems of the gamecube: Tales of Symphonia, Skies of Arcadia; Legends, and Paper Mario the Thousand Year Door. all of which hold very fond places in my heart, and any individual one is worth the price of a wii these days.
Gamecube actually a treasure chest full of gems. Metroid prime, Mario sunshine, beyond good &evil, phantasy star, Smash Bros and so many more

I never actually got to beat this game. I still own it though, no system to play it on. I got pretty damn far in this before my Gamecube broke too.

This was my favourite game to play on the Gamecube. The story-line, the comedy, the awesome characters, and the amazing combat as well as the crowd and stage. Some people believe that the first Paper Mario was better. Don't get me wrong, the first Paper Mario was great and very fun; but, the way they made the story more intriguing by involving different parties such as Bowser, more involving dialogue from characters, and a lot more comedic skits, TTYD improved on many aspects of the original.

This is probably one of the best gamecube games, right up there with sunshine and windwaker. ... and Twilight Princess, but i usually consider that as a Wii game more, even though it was a gamecube game origionally

I started playing this game again 2 days ago, I just beat Glitzville. This game is STILL fun.

Man when I saw this game, I was really doubtful that it would be fun because paper? I mean really? But once I started playing it, lo and behold, I loved it. Really fun to play!

@PaperMario15 The tons and tons of people around the internet who hate Halo and Call of Duty are no where near the tons and tons of people around the internet and the world who love Halo and Call of duty. The Thousand-Year Door should be praised, talked about, and as popular as Mario 1, 3, 64, and Galaxy. I think even Sunshine gets more attention than Thousand-Year. Granted Sunshine is also a great game, but Thousand-Year is just one of the best games of all time. #10 in my top 10.

When u got of 1 of the keys or scrols or something u could become flat. And then it said Whahaha i have ebnchanted u look how skinny u are. Eat a sandwich skinny. I lolled for like 5 min :') Best part of this epic game.

Among the best J-RPGs with Paper Mario 64. Perfect battle system, no random encounters, incredible music, humor, unique quests and story that aren't ,,leave your home village to find mana tree lololo''. And way better than Mario RPG on the SNES. That has aged horrible.

I would have to say, that out of all the games I have played and beaten, this one takes the cake. It's my absolute favorite. The replayability is surprisingly high and I have never actually beaten the Pit of 100 Trials yet. I got close, then I ran out of star power, items, not dead partners, and just plain luck. One day though! One day I'll do it the hard way without go all BP and invisicloacks! I'll beat Bonetail with the sheer awesomness of skill and training! Dear God I'm such a nerd.
@Fabrazz I loved the first two, and I loved Super Paper Mario just as much. Most of the reasons you have for disliking it are terrible. Paper Mario 64 is still the best in the series, but Super Paper Mario is pretty close. Also, Galaxy 2 isn't even that great.

@HeyItsCheezy No. The 2D-Platformer Paper Mario Wii was terrible to anyone who liked the previous Paper Marios on GC and N64. First off, it obviously wasn't anywhere near to an rpg and had no combat system at all. Secondly, the world with "Pixls" or what-ever was strange and out of place. Let's hope the N3DS version will be indeed back to the roots, because TTYD here, was one of my best mario experiences thus far. Even exceeding Galaxy 2 just because I like RPGs more.

Hmm, it's really close, but PM64 barely beats this out as my favorite game of all time. By the way, there's going to be a new Paper Mario for the 3DS! It seems to go back to its roots of a traditional RPG which is alright in my opinion (though SPM was still great).
This game was seriously awesome with some innovative gameplay techniques. Loved every minute of it besides the filler sequences in between chapters in the computer room. Sooooo long and drawn out.
I only played my copy of the game once... back when it first released... and now I want to play it again. :D

The style of this game, combined with the characters, combined with the gameplay, combined with the damn wit and humour in this game make this one of my favourite RPGs :) Definately a must have.

This song is always uplifting.... first time i heard it, it just got me ready for the adventure ahead and what to expect... but man.... i never truely expected what this game had in store for me....

Man..this game is so underrated, and it's one of THEE best games I have ever played, no doubt. It's seriously epic. Haha. But no, really. I mean, the good qualities of this game are countless. It's got surprisingly good humor that can actually make you laugh, a wonderful plot, cute characters, and it IS pretty difficult to beat if you don't have a walkthrough by your side at like all times. So, props to you, Paper Mario: TTYD, props to you. <3
