Currently the stage I'm stuck on. F**k you, boss guy. Luckily the music is absolutely wonderful.
Try defeating every other guy (especially the big round men) before the screen shows him. Then find which move he has a hard time blocking or countering. Use that move repeatedly when you knock him off the screen.
Uugghh! The emulation is so strong! I can totally tell a difference! Great song though!

I heard a mashup of this and "All that she wants" by Ace of Base, and now I can't hear this song without also hearing the mashup.

SoR 2 is amongst the top, but not all tracks, Its little from song to song, But same goes for most games so its fair,but: ESWAT, RAYMAN 2D (or was that on saturn?), Johnny Bazookatone, Ghostbusters!, i actualy liked Moonwalker, Batman the game (i come to Mega-CD later..) , Hang-on, Two Crude dudes(if remeber right..those beat-emups..) + several more but too late now. I must name a few Mega-CD games gonna make your ears so clean: Sonic-CD Jap! Wonderdog, Jaguarxj220, Batman returns FULL CD.

The main boss for this level the boxer r bear is one of the hardest opponents to beat in the game.
I just made a new beat sampling this song, was always one of my favs on the soundtrack... I think I flipped the fuck out of it if I do say so myself.

streets of rage 2 is easily one of the best beat em ups ever, along with arguably having the best video game soundtrack of all time

One of my favorites from that game. This is the best beat-em-up series I've ever played. Then comes Ninja Turtles, then God Hand, then some others.
