The Mining town of Kirsla, i was there eleven years ago and to this day, i still remember the beatiful music from that town, the fond memories it brings back.
I like the mining town of Salva too(and the wonderful music)
I love how some games were that good that it sticks with a person forever. I really hope my kids will have the same feeling with whatever they're into (hopefully video games too hah)

I thought second story was superior to this. The story in this fell apart the moment you walked into 4D world. Good concept but they didn't execute it right.
I don't know anything about this series, but I keep hearing music from it. Whether it's on one of these playlists or an OC Remix, the music makes me want to check out the series. Sadly I have yet to find a copy of one of these games.

While I admit this games dungeon themes aren't so hot (except for maybe one or two) they hit the towns out of the park.

I played alot of rpgs the past 10 years and this is the best town bgm of all time imo.
its when you play it for the first time then put the game down for a long time and come back to it! and try to pick it up again! at least thats why i was stuck not sure about the other dude.....

Well Star Ocean 3 has many different twist and characters. For example You can sometimes choose to gain a new ally or turn them down to maybe get a different ally. There are 5 optional characters you can keep, or turn away .Names: Nel,Albel,Roger,Adray. and Peppita

The 2nd time I played this game I found out you could keep Nel....to bad she isn't on the data I spent 200 hours on. :c

Albel is the 2nd worst character in the game. But that's my opinion. I'm sure most peeps will disagree with me.
I didint hve a memory card when i played.. Can u say playstation overload, overheat, over everything.. Lol left game running for a week til i got mem card.. Even then.. Pushed it to the limit.. Xbox would hve been gave
I liked this game less as I went on, but I liked a lot of the characters, and the amount of focus and detail that went into the planets (rather than just having "ice planet" and "city planet"), even if you only went to a few of them. Peppita was my favorite character to play as; her icicle spears were so broken that it was great.

I did the same with Dishonored! I was playing it at 2 AM ... And suddenly I woke up at 4:30 AM , with the game still running.
Just listened through the whole playlist - very nice! Thanks for creating it, it helped me study for my final exams and every track is awesome...nicely put together.

One of my favorite tracks from a video game. Star Ocean Till The End of Time for Playstation 2. I remember playing this at the end of Autumn, the crisp air was cozy, the warmth of my apartment, and then playing this game/track echoing through the room... always brings me back to that moment... nostalgic chill bumps everywhere.

The game would always freeze due to the fact that It was so crowded in the inventors room. The picture would lay still while the music played. I would just sit there listening......

I played this game completely through twice. One of my favorite RPGs although the plot twist takes a ton of heat. I enjoyed the music, the battle trophies, and the combat system.

This is nice and calming but the most serene song that I can remember from a game is Underwater Frigate Reactor Core from Metroid Prime. Even more relaxing than this song.

The Desolate Smell of Earth and the castle theme from Super Mario 64 have both also done that to me @_@ But, video game music and sounds is such a common part of my life, putting a runthrough of a game on my laptop [usually of something 'quieter' like Donkey Kong Country] has become a great way to lull myself to sleep. @_@
