First tales game I played. Sadly i did not finish it as the top of the disc got scratched somehow. The battles were awesome and I remember liking the main character Stahl I think was his name. The swords were cool too as they spoke if I remember correctly.
Great song and a great game. I won this game in a raffle at a comic book store when it came out. Before I could leave I had a bunch of offers for it. I'm glad I kept it. The Tales series is a fantastic series.

I did play it. In fact, it was one of my most-played game in the PS1 era. Sure, you can't compare it to todays tales games(I've played almost every tales game out there) And I still think PS1 TOD is better than at least Rebirth, Legendia, and the portable ones. Anyway, it's pretty good game even with today's standards. How many times did Phantasia got ported or remade? Some games simply age well. BTW, if you've played JP version with Lilith in the party, you'd know how awesome this game is.
