Platformer, pretty decent one at that. Nothing special or particularly great, though, it's just mostly competent.

This was actually a surprisingly well-made, fun game. I get it out every few summers to beat it :)

It surprised me how good of a game this is.
This game was the first game to make me plug the NES on a Sound amplificator with good speakers, the other games were battletoads and ninja gaiden, after the 8-bit era I always had my consoles plugged on a pair of speakers.
I love how the McKids' quest for McDonalds will eventually render them too fat and unable to continue said quest

The song is actually pretty good and I have never even played this game. I know about it though and I completely agree that it's just mean advertising. It's just horrible how this kind of food ruined America's health to a scary point.

i never played this game, but from what i remember from old Nintendo Power magazines they said good things about it. but it slipped into obscurity REALLY fast over the years.
Didn't the same guy who did the music for Silver Surfer and Solstice for the NES do this too? Sounds like something he'd do. Good tune, btw. Sorta in the same vein as that Street of Rage track from earlier.

I loved this game, the music was so awesome, especially when you were 5 years old. It still is.
Not sure if Genesis in particular, but there were some things on Battletoads's multiplayer. I think it was the NES game.
