That knocking sound at 0:02 scared the absolute shit out of me, it's stereophonically positioned so it sounds like somebody is actually knocking at my door at 2:20 AM. I can't even listen to the rest of the song out of fear of hearing it again and thinking the boogeyman is after me.

@Jenosaido advice if you get the pc version be sure to get an xbox controller for your pc all the controls are stated as if for the 360
It saddens me greatly that i have never finished this game completely. This will most definitely be one of the first games i buy if/when i get a 360 again...or perhaps i will look into the pc version now that i have an actual decent PC

@bushwhacker2k if I could thumbs up your comment any more, i would. The statement you are referring to makes me want to tear my skin off. Yes FFXIII's battle system was nice, and the cutscenes were beautiful. great, they captured two of the nice things about games, but really. no towns, a linear story where you can't revisit areas till the end of the game, little exploration until the end as well.. what were they thinking?!
@legend007 hurr durr its different and we're too damn lazy to be assed with learning how to play properly durrr. in all honesty, I feel like thats the reason. I never beat the game, but I came close (I got a bit past the 6 bases) and I loved it.
Wow, what's going on? All WRPGs are shooters with stats? FF13 is a good game? I think I've entered the twilight zone...

@terraflyer23 no way, Lost Odyssey maybe (havn't played it yet) but nothing else can surpass it nowadays, and i'm not counting wrpg's because to me, they arent true rpg's, they are more adventure/shooters with stats.
@brainjuice654 I don´t know about that. It´s definately not worthless, but I still think that quite alot of new rpgs surpasses it. The music is a blast though ^^
@terraflyer23 there are better games out there but they're all old games. as for the newer rpg's this is definately one of the best
That makes sense I guess, if you like that type of a challange =P I just thought the game was uninteresting compared to many other RPG`s, but if you like it you like it. That´s nice.
It depends on your style. To me, this game is for the most hardcore rpg gamers. Ppl who don't mind grinding for DAYS to build up stats. Many pansies put down the game simply because they can't handle the challenge.

Yes this game is VERY frustrating, but it's that fact that i keep playing it, simply bcuz it's challenging, lol
And Lost Odyssey. I have all 3, but I've been playing the last remnant for a while now. I haven't even touched inf. undis. yet. Simply bcuz the last remnanat is a huuuuge rpg. Im tryna tackle one @ a time so i put the lost odyssey on the backburner for now as well
I don´t like this game very much, due to the flaws that occur during the battles and the rather tasteless story (if I might say so myself). I agree that this soundtrack is good though, I would have given it a slightly lower position, but it is good.
basically you go through the game as a character named rush sykes (srry if i mispelled) looking for his sister. at least thats as much as i can tell. still havent beaten the game yet...stiped playing it for a bit
What is this game about? There were 3 Japanese games released on the 360 I knew nothing about. Infinite Undiscovery, The Last Remnant and something else, I can never remember all 3 at once.

This was the only game in like 10 years that had me getting up at 3 AM to play it for hours before work. My favorite RPG since Mario RPG. And finally a game with a last boss that is an absolute beast.
It's a pretty decent game. Most that complain about it complain about the slowdowns during gameplay. You can lower the slowdowns by installing to HDD and if you get it for the PC there will be no slowdowns.
I always look at this game and it looks beautiful but is it really good?
