Short Circuit
Sounds more like a boss theme than an area theme to me.
The music in this is like at the start the song has a melody, but a few seconds later it changes to an erratic tune, like a short circuit in a computer. The rest of the song involves it trying to find the melody and seems to find it at the violin portions but after the wind-down, the short-circuiting continues. Hence the track's title

This is hella trippy. I want to finish this game but good lord almighty does the battle system suck.
Absolutely love how it slows down as by a fail (caused by a short circuit?), and then speeds up again to reach the correct tempo. So approriate song's name.

never got into the tales games. only childish charakters and most of the time pretty lame stories. the fighting system isn`t something i like but i heard that it is supposed to be pretty good.
Its funny. Its like one of the only rpg series that makes me want to fight enemies due to the kickass battle system.
Play Xillia 1 and 2 and you'll feel different.
@TylightDark is the fighting system any different?
It's a lot more combo-based. The protagonist of Xillia 2 can equip all 40-something of his artes at one time so you don't have to make room.
And once again we get to hear Shiina's compositions on Tales of Zestiria, along with Motoi Sakuraba.

This is such a boss battle theme to the core. It starts off kind of "ready? ready?!" and after one extended note it's "BETTER HOPE YOU ARE"

Was going to go to bed but then of course this song plays next on your playlist. Its like you knew this is one of my favorite tunes and is purposefully keeping me on youtube for the rest of my life.
This is SO unique! The originality is staggering, yet something about it is so coherent with tales. It truly is genius and should have been played more.

Good choice. I would have thrown in Chasing Shirley or the Ancient City over this, but you really can't go wrong with this soundtrack.

I didn´t play the game but the song sounds strange and good. I think to understand the song you have to see the game scene or battle.
It almost sounds like the song is broken... I thought my pc was having problems because the song started glitching up etc... well I can't say I like that effect too much >.>

Lots of that. The strong point of Legendia is the story. There's a INSANE amount of character development and the game is the longest of them all. Downside is it's also the weakest on the gameplay side. Battles tend to drag for a bit too long for the majorities tastes.
Its for PS2. Really awesome, i have the game, you will won´t regret to play XD...
I just recently downloaded the Legendia soundtrack and this track is one of my favorites.
Coincidentally I've been playing this game for the last few days. Overall it's not that great, but it manages to keep me hooked up :D
