Ahh, no game thoroughly kicked my ass when I was a kid like Mega Man X. And nobody was better at it than Storm Eagle. I liked this song so much that I would always rush to him first, even though I didn't have the dash upgrade required to fight him. Many deaths followed.
I think the only reason why two people gave this thumbs down is because the song length is really short. Good thing my SNES still works because it's time to hunt some Mavericks.

@boyblob The only reason why I'd have a negative opinion about this video, and likely why the others have downvoted it, is due to its incredibly short length. A killer song for a killer game that deserves at least three minutes of playback.

I honestly don't see the appeal to this song. This song, Mammoth's and Chameleon's sound too alike, and uninspired. The tracks that really stand out for me in MMX are Mandrill's, Armadillo's, and Sigma's first stage.
Intrestingly enough...I do like the song, but it is mad short. 1 loop of it is under 1min. Now, Storm Eagle does have my favorite weapon of the game (even though it's somewhat broken lol).
All I gotta say is hell yeah! And any Mega Man stage that involves insane jumping wins in my book.

hell yeah. sigma stage 1 is epic. hell, almost every single song on MMX1 is epic. just hearing this brings back memories of the mid 90s and when gaming was still GOOD.

I saw Megaman 7 being played on a TV video game show long ago and asked my mom if she could go look for it for my birthday. She found Megaman X instead, and it was awesome. I had so much trouble with the final boss though, but I did beat him.

Yes!!!! This game IS my childhood. Thank you, SupraDarky, for recognizing the original X's brilliance. I hope to see some more (Spark Mandrill, Armored Armadillo, Boomer Kuwanger) up here at some point :)
