This music cracks me up! I listen to this when I go home from work after 8 pm. I admire music artists who could do this with the limitations of a system like the snes. I used to be a big fan of Asterix and Obelix, played most of their games but this song I recalled the most. I remember playing this game with my brother, those days it was no problem to go to a video rental shop and rent the game. The sea level was hard as hell hahaha

it's sad how they don't make good asterix games anymore, Asterix on 3DS is just a piece of crap...
3 years later, now they're making good Asterix games again (XXL2 Remastered & XXL3) :D

@Tmpp88 maybe nowadays but I remember about 10 years ago, it was an even deal, Comics wise I think it's a struggle between Asterix +Obelix and tin tin ^_^ in holland and belgium i'd say Suske & Wiske (Spike and Suzy) are to be considered too!
@Pacaveli83 Donald & Scrooge and co. are more popular than all the other comic heroes put together in at least Finland, Netherlands and Italy, so Asterix & Obelix ain't an all-European favorite ;P

I remember a slightly more 8-bit souning version of this track on the GBA, to be more specific it was on the Asterix & Obelix game in the BASH them all! game, which also had Asterix & cleopatra. I think I'll be able to find that game back :)

theyre all over the world, seriously (this fact is even made fun of in the cartoon Asterix and Cleopatra, it shows Asterix talking in many different languages) anyway, i read many of this as a child (in germany) and was surprised they come from france xD

The opening little bit reminded me of the DKC series. I'm always surprised by Asterix music when you upload it, it's better than I would have thought it would be.
