I played partway through this game back in the day and I'll be honest- I really only remember the music and the cooking feature... Lol

I can say this game is good but legaia 1 is better, I don't find myself challenged in this game I'm disappointed with the accessories as well as the damage it gives on opponents, infinite AP? I think it's unfair lol, but in overall it's good because they have the camp mode as well as guild

People generally seem to praise Legaia 1 more than 2, but imo 2 was much funner to play. The art block system was improved(No more psyching up just to get another art block in combat) and there was much less times where you had to grind for a long time to be able to win. I got stuck in either the East or West Voz forests(I think thats the name) in L1 against the boss monsters there and was never able to pass it. And in comparison to L2, I never got stuck where I couldnt advance except counting when I first played it as a kid and couldnt get passed the Gather Crab boss for a bit as I never figured out any other arts. The game was still challenging dont get me wrong, just no moments where you just get walled imo
I've played Legaia 1 as a kid with my mom and grandmom. I got stuck at the forest as a kid. But now I can go though the entire area, never grind, and win.
For me it was the other way around, on Legaia 1 only Berserker and Xain give me trouble, but on Legaia 2 I got stuck on many bosses xD
Legaia 1 had better story overall. That's why people liked it more. I did like Legaia 2 too, but the first one was definitely more memorable.
This isn't actually the Final Battle theme, this plays during the first battles against Avalon, however, when he transforms into Infinite One the music changes to "Unique Person's Banquet" and stays so for the remainder of the battle.
@Blood Tears The composers of the OST for Legaia 2 are: Hitoshi Sakimoto Yasunori Mitsuda Michiru Oshima While Nobuo did the music for many of the Final Fantasy games.
@immazombie No i think its more of its own game, but they did have a few easter eggs you could say in the game. I did see a gimard in the castle basement.
It was the first RPG I have ever finished, and I dont know about you, but the ending (was the first that) made me cry... good times, if only I had this game back...

It's because most of the final battle takes place during this song, which is why no one really cares for the real one.
I liked these games a lot, both Legend of Legaia and Legaia II Duel Saga...honestly, I can't tell which one is better. I liked Legaia II over Legend of Legaia because the some characters use swords (it may sound silly, but I love characters that use swords. I don't disagree with fist-characters either, I just preffer swords).
Honestly haven't heard of this game before but great theme
Legaia 2: Duel Saga was the only RPG where I spent over 100 hours doing all I could and didn't even go to the final boss. This RPG was good in the fact it had so much to do and of course the great combat system of the Legaia series made it a fresh experience at the time. You could actually cook food and make items up! All of that combines to make this game not only good...but TANZA HOT!!!

Actually, one of the composers is mentioned in the tags. The three composers that made the music for Legaia are according to Wikipedia: Hitoshi Sakimoto, Michiru Oshima and the man in the tags, Yasunori Mitsuda.

Never played Legaia 1, though i cant imagine it'd surpass Legaia 2. I must have invested 500+ hours in one of my saved files, and 1000+ hours across all my files. Love Legaia 2; glad i didn't sell it like i did some other PS2 games i regret selling.

YAY AVALON THEME!!!! O__O I liked the final attack that Avalon I believe its called the Elzenbraut, freakin devastating 4 hit combo that will cripple you if your teams full of low levels. :D Kinda funny that the stones from this game remind me of Zelda's pearls from windwaker. Anywho LOVE THIS GAME AND AVALON'S THEME!!! ^__^

I really like this music! And I like this game too! Not as much as Legend of Legaia, but this was well made game anyway! I wanted to go fishing though... just like in the first Legaia:D

@ClockwerkDingo I can think of only two examples more epic then that A: Blazing Sword, and B: Skies of Arcadia's Moonstone Cannon. After that is Cort then Avalon's human form. (HE KNOWS BLOODY FLASH STEP!)

I really like this piece, but I find it switches to a casual feeling which is WAYYYYYYY out of place with the badass awesome feeling I felt for most of it.

I have (well, had, I can't figure out where my game disc is) the first one and it's how the game has always been. Very fun and interesting combat though.
I don't think this is a classic RPG but it is a truly outstanding soundtrack with many contrubitions froma a lot of big names!
Scimarad : This one was made in 2002, and one of the earliest games in PS2.
The only problem I had with the game was that it needed so much level grinding, so I never got too far in the game, I always regreted not putting in more effort.

Yeah, but Lufia has almost completely fallen by the wayside. It's a great game, but even a lot of Nintendo fans have no idea what it is.
Bah. The most underrated RPG of all time (no offence meant to Any of the series previously) is Lufia, especially the originals. Didn't even get a trophy in Brawl.

Bleh, it just wasn't near as good as the first one. The world was extremely small, and the story had very very little depth, while the first one didn't have a whole lot of depth either, this one's just plain shallow. The voice acting is annoying and... bleh it could've been so much better. With the right accessories, bosses stop being a challenge, ever. It's ridiculous. Also Ayne is useless since he doesn't have an origin. Bleh....
I actually "won" the first fight and they force a cutscene of you getting your ass handed to you. As for the second fight, i had this accessory on my team that boosted my attack up to HELL AND BACK by defending. Then i just unleashed variable arts and a mystic art. Effectively 1 shotting both of them lol.

This song uses a perfect chord succession. It should have more instruments and a wider melodic line, but it's very good anyway.
