I never played this game but always wanted to, I heard the HP were used for casting magic and it was hard to replenish them. Is that true or is it not as hard as I've heard people say it is to do that?
Every time I listen to this song it makes me feel right at home. So calming.
Such a shame this little RPG was ridiculed so much. Behind that ropey translation you could see there was a decent story, and the music was ace too, this tune in particular.

Reminds me of Tifa's Theme from FF7. This game has some great tracks but most were too repetitious during gameplay for my taste.

Never actually played this game but watched my friend play for a bit like forever ago and all I remember of it is that I love this music.
I'd say yes. It's fun min-max'ing all the spell's power and the story is not half-bad either. I quite enjoyed it...up until I lost my savegame for the umpteenth time.
I never could find this game when it came out. Is it any good? I'm guessing it may be kind of generic, but is it worth finding?

If you're talking about Energy Breaker, there's nothing yet. The guy is working on other projects too, so yeah. As for Mystic Ark, no patch either, we can only wait. I'm not even sure Magic Destiny resumed his work on the game.
I'm definately gonna check out the Mother 3 patch later on, since I was following the progress on Tomato's site. Maybe to celebrate the translation, you'll put a song up from it?
It is. Has a great level up system. That and attacks worth seeing. Such as one that has angels show up, then demons sing, and finally boom. One of the graphically best attacks on a 16-bit RPG.
Ugh Mystic Ark. I really wish they'd finish it. But if Magic Destiny is back and working, maybe we'll finally see a complete translation! But if there's a game that interests me more than any other, it's Energy Breaker. A little SRPG made by the same team that made Lufia 2. Last update on the translation was made in August though, but he was nearly done.
Yep indeed. I started Lennus 2, it's a weird game, but I like it a lot. Worth playing.

Great week translation-wise! After Mother 3, Paladin's Quest 2(Lennus 2) has also been translated to english! I personally really liked PQ, I think it has a unique charm but it's also because I played this game during a memorable time as a kid.
