This is a pleasant tune. I have the 4th one for the 3DS but I stopped playing it after awhile. I dunno why I guess I just felt my party wasn't very optimized anymore and I was just slogging through the game much slower.

It's just like the Golden Sun series. No one has ever heard of those, either.
Golden Sun should launch with the next nintendo console and everyone will know it after that.

For EO 1, maybe...but this one isn't that hard to find...depending on where you live, if you shop around game stores like EB Games (Gamestop in the States), or other similar outlets you'll find it.
go for it! (It's hard as nails though) If you can't find it, feel free to pirate it. If you like it, and have a 3DS, you can buy Etrian Odyssey 4. (Only advocating piracy because I honestly think it's OK to pirate hard or impossible to get games. They're meant to be enjoyed after all.)

I've still yet to play EO 1 and 2, And its something I'm looking forward too. I just need to hunt down some Copies. Oh and im not even done with 3, Hell, I dont even think im halfway done with it yet. I'm stuck on... er, The second main boss. The main boss of the undersea Grotto.

I know this is an old comment, but I couldn't agree more. Like, I always feel bad about playing video games for too long if I don't have anything else to take care of, but that is something I keep forgetting. Life really is about finding what you enjoy, and having no regrets after. You know, as long as it doesn't hurt yourself or anyone else.

Man this stratum was amazing to me. I loved the music with it and the cherry blossoms falling down. This is probably my third fav stratum in EO2. My first is The Frozen Ground and my second is The Auburn Thicket.

That's basically what it was. If 1F-15F were a giant forest/tower/tree, Cherry Tree Bridge is the top of that tree. It seems to be a combination of floating islands and the few remaining branches of the tree that reach so high up.
Of all the Stratums, this is the most confusing one...what is the Petal Bridge supposed to be? Some sort of city inside Yggdrasil? The towns people implied that I found a bunch of floating islands, but it looked nothing like it.

Probably my favorite track in EO II. Soothing, relaxing and quite varied in its composition, too.
My name is Chris, and I'm a grind-aholic... This game and EO 1 are nearly completely devoid of story and designed around the level grid...this didn't stop my from hopping on the treadmill and happily throwing 40 hrs of my life is the toilette. What a great couple of games....(I have a real problem.....)

It's definitely a love it or hate it kind of game. You have to be a patient player who loves traditional and slower RPGs. It has a pretty hardcore fanbase.

Thanks for the advice, SD. I'm just focusing on some SNES games I borrowed from a friend that I want to give back for now. Games like EarthBound, Lagoon, Secret of Mana, Super Mario RPG. I actually sold some of those to him, but he lets me borrow them anytime.
I definitely know what you mean. That's how it was for me at some point, but I learned to focus and enjoy the games I'm playing without even thinking about the other ones I want to play after. You know there's a problem when you just started playing a game and you just want to finish it quick so you can play another one. ;)
I'm eager to play series as well. I still have a huge pile of games to beat though, plus I'm learning how to drive for now... I hate how my mind thinks of gaming as work on a to do list...I wish I was a kid again.
