Dragon Quest music always puts me in a good mood. I still have yet to play DQXI S, I'm waiting a bit since I finished VIII on the 3DS not too long ago and I want to fully appreciate it. DQVI is widely regarded as the lesser entry in the Zenithia trilogy and while I actually agree, it's still a top notch RPG.

The weakest game in the series? Sure, but it's still great. Not a single real bad game in the entirety of Dragon Quest.

eh, imho the weakest game in the series is the first. But without it, there would be none of the others, of course. ;)

Dragon quest games are such wonderful games... Good RPG with memorable musics, story, game life. I think they never get old. They are the kind of games, even if I played them 5 times, I could do the story once more and still get the same feelings !

I just finished playing this one for the first time! The mobile port is pretty darn good. Unfortunately 7 isn't on there, and 8 has been significantly downgraded to run well on mobile platforms. Hoping they'll be out on PC someday.

This game was pretty great. Finished about half a year ago. The secret ending was certainly unique and I've never seen any other rpg do something like that.

I wonder why everybody says that this game isn't as good as other dragon quest ones, I think it's even better than the Fifth chapter ._.

I agree. It has less mass appeal because it's not as intimate and personal as V and is more combat focused, but I like it more for its outlandish concepts and vignette structure

I think it's great, and V is seriously overhyped. V loses a lot of steam in the back half of the game.
