I still remember renting this game as a kid at my local Blockbuster and being disappointed that I couldn't control the heroes, just the giant robot zords. The gameplay itself was also too stale/slow compared to other classic fighting games. The graphics were nice though and this theme would always stick out. Were you a Power Rangers fan as a kid (or now!)?

I watched a bunch of episodes for the first time like 3 years ago but got out of it, it was so repetitive after a while also the way characters talked just felt like they were talking down to me or something

I was a fan in kindergarten and maybe early elementary. And a friend of mine had the beat em up on SNES, but then he also had Turtles in Time, Sunset Riders and Battletoads, which were all way better, so we seldom ever played Power Rangers

Supra! What's with this timing!? I've been listening to the Power Rangers (OG) soundtrack while working out since last week cause it's so hype, and a few days ago also decided to look this game that I used to play and was so bad at it but remember the music being so good. Also the one based in the movie!

I used to love Power Rangers, but the first series I remember feeling bored with was Mystic Force. Nowadays I've only checked out some super sentai that looked interesting (Gokaiger and Kyuranger) and I'm thinking of watching some older ones, too.

@Hawlo I'm not really into the series anymore, think Mystic Force was the last I watched. However, lately, I've been interested in reading some comics that look really interesting like the Psycho Rangers and Omega Rangers think they are called. Honestly I've been traveling to the old days listening to the OG soundtrack the past few days, is just so good and perfect for the workouts xD.

Back in the day I saw this game on a game's magazine and got really interested, the gameplay looked amazing. It wasn't all that I was expecting but I still had a lot of fun with it. I still remember the code to unlock Ivan Ooze haha. And I liked Power Rangers as a kid, saw like the three first seasons and then lost interest.

@Hawlo Agreed man. Though I remember after those last episodes of Turbo that they needed to go to Space (and start the In Space season) and lose my mind about this new season, such a cool idea.

The most disappointing thing is that the first Megazord isn't in it. It only features stuff from season 2 and 3, and Ivan Ooze as well.

Nice cover art. It's quite awesome seeing Lord Zedd getting decked in the face by a Mega Zord, I don't think that ever happened in the original series unfortunately.

Original series no, but in the BOOM comics, he gets the shit kicked out of him by the Thunderzord and a giant Alpha 5 during the DC crossover mini series. Yes. A Power Rangers and DC crossover officially exists. It is as cheesy as it sounds and its wonderful.
