This game was launched on Kickstarter a few weeks ago along with a demo and music samples. I really like this theme and its different sections, it's a single loop. What we have here is a Metroidvania with heavy emphasis on combat inspired by Devil May Cry. Having completed the demo, I can definitely see the potential with the different combos switching between normal, charge and magical attacks. The graphics and music seem to be in good hands, and as expected from an alpha build the gameplay will need some tweaks here and there. Your description makes me draw comparisons to Valdis Story, it even has highlighted "V' in the name ;) Would you say it is similar but with pixel art?

I made a (private)playlist of my favorite vgm and i found you when i wanted to add maruki's theme from p5r to it since i just met him. I see you have a whole channel dedicated to your favorite vgm and i love that! i'm gonna follow along on the journey of collecting good vgm, no doubt it'll introduce me to games i should check out as well.

This is pretty groovy Also, for anybody out there who knows the lick (you know the one), a recurring part of the melody uses the first two thirds of the lick and just changes the end. Wonder if it was intentional.
