This theme is forever ingrained in my brain. I've always liked maps in video games, and the ones in the DKC SNES trilogy were some of my favorites with their awesome graphics/details. I ordered Tropical Freeze this morning, I had a sudden urge to play it.

@CAPAE I actually played about half of the game on Wii U, but it was a friend's copy and I never got to finish it. It didn't help that my Wii U ended up being connected to my TV for a few months only.

I've to say, the map in DKC3 belongs to the most impressive thing I had seen as a child. I still think about it sometimes.

@Burkhart von Klitzing so, originally @SupraDarky , I was actually referring to why you, "Didn't do so earlier," as why you did not post this earlier in the years in your best VGM playlist. My snarky remark was because if SupraDarky did, Nintendo might copyright claim the video. My FULL response would actually be, "I'm surprised you did not put this as one of your favorite VGMs earlier, but then again I understand why: Nintendo might have copyright claimed it. lol" I think @SupraDarky thought I was referring to him picking up Tropical Freeze instead. So, I just rolled with that topic instead...lol. Make sense?

Nintendo is baffling as fuck, man... they put up a game called “Super Logic Bomb” on SNES Online before Donkey Kong Country, Earthbound, or Super Mario RPG.

I just realised; the front cover lies to you. "An Incredible 3D Adventure in The Kingdom of Kong!" 'Cept the game's not 3D at all; it's all 2D.

They actually used 3d models for the characters. But the actual levels were 2d.
