I hope you're all doing OK with the unprecedented situation going on. I wish you all to stay safe and healthy, as well your friends and family. It's a good thing we love playing video games at least! This theme is from RO2 before it was rebooted and I'm glad we at least got an awesome soundtrack from Yoko Kanno. I'm not sure about the reboot, but from what I can see it's far from being as good and popular as the first game.

I'll never forget my days in Ragnarok Online (the OG). First mmo experience back in the mid 2000's, I made so many friends, had a blast going to woe on fridays and getting paid like it was a real job xD. Saving money for those head gears and wings I wanted so much, then going to pvp and have a blast too. Wish you are all staying safe! We will get through this!!!

Stay safe, Supra! I've been following you since like 2008, when you had one hundred something uploads, and you are the benchmark on youtube for VG OSTs. This crazy time will make us rejoice that we are gamers, and perhaps even make many more discover this awesome hobby of ours. Here's for the next 2400 uploads, and thank you for all the great work! P.S. such a shame they didn't keep going with this project and changed it to the much inferior Rag 2 we have today :/

I never played this game but I can still appreciate this amazing soundtrack. There are only handful of songs that are not only a music but an experience.

Thanks for uploading it! It's definitely a great choice among the songs in this soundtrack. I love how Yoru Vo segues into this track, making a perfect, soothing 8 minutes listen

I'v got a good one you should add to your channel of best vgm. Youtube search "SvC Chaos Power Generation Room Stage (Soundtrack)" that's a old track from the old capcom fighting game SNK VS. Capcom SVC Chaos it is great though.

The RO2.0 had a really cool gothic feel to it. I was bummed that they turned it into another moe anime mmo.

I played the hell out of Ragnarok Online (the original) back in the day... I eventually got sick of it, but I remember some tracks fondly to this day. Haven't really played RO2, but it seems the OST is fantastic. I usually like Yoko Kanno's compositions as well.

"Memories of Ragnarok" contains a selection of remastered versions of RO tracks, done by SoundTEMP themselves(?) who did the original OST you hear in-game. Well worth a listen even for those who've never played the game, quite a timeless album.

You should check out the music from Tree of Savior.... which was supposed to be a spiritual successor to Ragnarok.
