I remember hearing this theme way too much in the game due to a lot of backtracking through the plains, but after many years now it feels fresh and I can appreciate it again! I wonder if the 3DS remaster sold well enough for them to consider a sequel at some point, but I'm not too optimistic. Stocke was a highlight character and I wouldn't mind new adventures surrounding him.

I don't think so, they really should've held the remaster off and released it on the Switch later down the line

I played this game probably 2-3 times on my brothers 3DS. One of the few times I've actually paused in a game to let the music play over and over. One of the few times I cried at a game. I bought the remaster a few years later when I moved out to make it my own, and it completely lived up to my memory.

I bought the game along shin megami tensei : strange journey redux, and while smt sj was a blast, I never finished radiant historia. In the remaster the sprites are now simple anime artworks, and the gameplay is quite boring

This song both feels good like a fun kind of grinding but also ominous like I'm about to see what one of the bad ends are and they are almost all fucking terrifying lol.

For some reason I associate it with that lazy Nemesia broad who friendzoned Stocke into risking his life and fetching her trinkets, but I don't think this is played in that part of the game.

I cant seem to be able to find a way to buy this game in Australia for pal systems shame, it really looks like a fun game

@jagkopp yeah, i am aware of that option and i may very well do so but i am also really wanting my first play through to be saved onto a physical cartridge

Decent song, but it's played WAY too often in the game. Likewise with some other songs. This game should have had double the 25 songs it ended up getting. And why did you use the "remaster" artwork...

Chrono Trigger formula + kickass Yoko Shimomura soundtrack + great story + innovative turn-based battle system = Radiant Historia. Best Handheld RPG, best ATLUS game.
