It's funny to think that this game was originally pitched by the developer as a 3D Yoshi game. I'll quote the interesting Wikipedia article here: "Argonaut Games created a prototype of the game, cited by company founder Jez San as as "essentially the world's first 3D platform game," and pitched it to Nintendo. The company was initially enthusiastic about the game, according to San, with Super Mario creator Shigeru Miyamoto expressing particular fascination with the project. Despite this enthusiastic response, Nintendo ultimately rejected Argonaut for unspecified reasons". I wonder if Nintendo having plans with a 3D Mario is the reason they rejected it.

I just 100% this game not too long ago for the first time ever, not that hard to do. I always thought it was ridiculously impossible but it's actually doable. I like this game, platforming is pretty fun and the music is great.

Finally, a track from Croc 1! Not a bad first choice either. The game itself doesn't hold up well, but the music is very catchy and memorable. My favorites are this song, the Title Theme and the Desert Island theme.

Oh, goodness. The memories rushing back. This was one of my big childhood games. It was the first and only one that made me outright ask my parents to buy the sequel - I'm glad I did and that they complied. :) Croc holds a special place in my heart.

I love this game's music. The snow levels give off a somewhat somber and whimsical vibe.
