Wow I knew this theme sounded familiar. The composer Takayuki Hattori also composed for Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin, amongst numerous other Japanese tv and movie productions. He clearly has a style.

I have a little poem for this game. A man stands on a bomb. A man stands on a brain. The anon is squished in demo.. and promptly goes insane. The music is Perrr Fect., but I'm never gonna play this game.

Oh yeah thrashed the demo disc of this a kid. Dont remember the music being this cinematic though! Im sure it was called something else in PAL territories as well.

Played the demo as a kid, loved it enough to buy Kurushi (as its known in Europe) and later its sequel. Definitely worth it for me, I played this endlessly, so addicting and the beautiful (sometimes stressful) music fits perfectly. Proof that demo discs worked and people bought games that you otherwise wouldn't even know about.

Intelligent Qube aka. Kurushi has a very imposing (and somewhat pretentious) aesthetic. Also the core gameplay is so simple they needed something to fill up the rest of the PlayStation CD!

An often forgotten gem on the PS1, I remember playing the demo repeatedly as a kid, and then finally downloading it from the PSN store when I was older.

I still can't believe that this weird but addictive PS1 puzzle game has such a quality soundtrack. This is AAA quality right there, some parts I could imagine playing during an enchanting movie scene. Over the years, Healing Light (#821) has become one of my favorite peaceful VGM ever.

This game is so bizarre and surreal! Definitely one of the oddities in the PS1 catalog, which is filled to the brim with them. And I could totally imagine this song playing during an RPG travel montage cutscene.
