I played through this game for the first time this summer and... what an amazing game. I had recently played Dark Souls 3 and I definitely felt like my FromSoftware reflexes were on point. I needed some time to get used to having no shield and exploit the parry mechanic, so I had a lot of trouble going through the starting zone. And then, it clicked. I ended up being stuck on only a few bosses, and even those it was usually 4-5 attempts. I read a lot of people saying they find Bloodborne harder than the Dark Souls series, but it was absolutely the opposite for me (and that's fine). A lot of it comes from having so many healing vials, as well as the Rally mechanic which lets you heal per hit within 5 seconds of being hit yourself. That mechanic is so great that I now wish all games in this genre had it, because it makes combat even more intense with its risk/reward. I actually beat Gehrman on my 2nd attempt, and then proceeded to beat Moon Presence on the first try. The Orphan of Kos was definitely a big challenge though.
Good luck with the Orphan on NG7.. Which I was when the DLC dropped.. Insanity has a new face.
This game is a beautiful masterpiece! The setting and atmosphere are at once morbidly grotesque and gorgeous. Loved every minute of it.
@Recht_voor_zijn_raap When I played through it the first time I got summoned into another guys game. We got the whole there with pretty decent teamwork. The three of us were doing well till phase II hit. Even with trading hate at about the best times possible we all ran out of vials and ended up wiped out. I was drenched in sweat by the time we lost. I can't remember any other boss raising my temperature nearly as much as him. I was on NG+4 for it. That lightning attack is takes some getting used to.
Weird, I mostly hear people calling Bloodborne the easiest of the Soulsborne + Sekiro games.
Orphan of Kos is a bitch holy crap, stuck on it and haven't beaten the game because im only missing him and moon presence
Ironically I beat Kos on my first try but that's because I saw my brother rage and he couldn't beat it for like an hour strait before. I never fought this boss because I wanted to finish all of the DLC first(didn't want to newgame yet and didn't know it wasn't the end end boss) and took like 3 weeks trying to beat this DLC dog + greatsword boss my brother had beaten in like 2 tries lmfao. Eventually I went in with 2 npc summons and whooped it but then after doing 8 hours of chalice dungeons I had to give game back to friend.
I think you need some more Bloodborne on this list...
Seems I have to return to Yharnam...fear the old blood...
I could really use a sequel to this masterpiece.

My favorite game of all time. Love this so much.
There are so many GREAT themes in Bloodborne. It may be one of my favourite soundtracks ever because it hits all my notes. Dark and brooding orchestral sounds, and lots of cello lol. This is probably one of my favourite themes in the game, along with Ludwig, Lady Maria, and Ebrietas.

I'm curious now that worlds is going on for League of Legends, what's your opinion on the music in that game? There has been some amazing pieces like Kindred or Ornn's champion themes after all.
This is the game that I want to play the most... Unfortunately, I don't have a PS4 and it is quite expensive here. So, I have a slim hope that it will be ported to PC one day. Sony recently allowed some of it's exclusives on PC, so... maybe one day...
I am in the same boat as you. Sony started PlayStation Now which lets you stream games on PC if you have a PS4 controller. I haven't used it, but it might be something to check out.
An absolute masterpiece, easily one of the best games ever made. Add to this a legendary soundtrack and this is one for the ages. Thank you FROM Software.
This isn't just fantastic game music. It's some of the best I have ever heard. Surprising it took you this long to upload it. Moonlit Melody deserves an upload too!
One of my top 5 favorite games of all time. Many games ever since old pc and atari games on my list, but this one shot up the ranks.
