I like how in Japan it's called Harukanaru Goku Densetsu, which means they just decided to remove Goku from the US title and not bother translating the rest. They basically removed the only part of the title that US consumers would have understood. The game itself is a standard RPG card game and from what I've read, not a very good one. At least the music by Yamamoto is solid.

I’m sure you’ve probably covered a lot of it by now, but Dragon Ball has had some amazing video game music for decades. Not so much lately, sadly... it tends to fall into generic rocky stuff now, but there were some bangers back in the day.

About the plagiarism talk, I think this theme actually has references/is a rearrangement of "Kid Goku's Theme" from Dragon Ball Z: Ultimate Battle 22 (PS1), a game also composed by Yamamoto. In fact I'm working while listen to the music (thanks SupraDarky for your channel I love it a lot) and normally I take a look what game is the music from. But with this one it's sounded for me like a SNES Dragon Ball and I was not wrong and plus made by Yamamoto. So his style is very recognizable.
