Hopefully it's just a question of time until Nintendo ports this game to the Switch, such a great game doesn't deserve to be stuck on the Wii U. In an ideal world, they would also remaster 3D Land. I'm excited to see what's next for Mario, but I could definitely see an Odyssey 2 and the return of the Cappy hat mechanic.

I'd be all for an Odyssey 2. Seems to take Nintendo a very long time to make a full fledged Mario game that starts fully from scratch in terms of the main gimmick. Why not just go the Super Mario Galaxy 2 route, where more and more level ideas are based around Odyssey gameplay.

I bet if they mak a Super Mario Odyssey 2, Bowser would get his own Cappy. And thus you would have rival battles with Bowser in a "fight fire with fire" scenario.

I've heard rumors to both effects (Odyssey 2 or 3D World Deluxe). @Medal Melodies Yeah, like, an evil whatever those hat ghosts are called. I also want to see a playable Peach (she does have her own "hat ghost" in Princess Tiara), maybe with a unique set of enemies, characters and objects she can possess (With her hair and crown on it.)

a 3D Land remake for Switch would be the best timeline. I'm glad people are coming out of the woodwork to praise it in the last few years because it felt so underrated in 2011 and 2012

Not the best Mario 3D, but one of the best in soundtrack, deserved more love than the overrated Super Mario Sunshine, as well...

No matter how many times I hear this theme in 3D World's style (in Mario Maker 2) it stays a good jazzy swing of a song. Love the horns.

This game makes me a lil melancholic. Takes me back to a time when i had such high hopes for the Wii U and the future looked so bright for it

One of the reasons I never regretted buying a wiiu. (This, Nintendoland, yoshi`s wooly world, pikmin 3 and hundreds of hours of netflix)

I played this on a friend’s Wii U a couple of weeks ago. It’s a masterpiece and it needs to come to the Switch.
