The most popular kingdom in the game, I'll always remember the reveal trailer with Mario coming out of the sewers. It felt like I was watching a GTA Mario game for a minute. Now that I played it, New Donk City may not be my favorite level but it certainly was memorable and ended with the amazing Festival. The jazz atmosphere was top notch thanks to this theme by Naoto Kubo who was promoted to Music Lead for the first time, and he certainly did well! Two things though: the humans in Odyssey are just weird and that jump-rope challenge was the worst part in the game.

@zeutomehr From what I remember, all I would do is stay in the middle and barely move while just throwing Cappy to intercept the ball. I couldn't do it when running around.

Yeah, the most popular level, with amazing music and probably my second favorite moment in the game (after the ending): the festival. But it's not the best, I'd say. I prefer Luncheon Kingdom and Wooded Kindgom at least. And yeah, the jump rope.... Didn't even bother with that one.

my favorite kingdom and one of my favorite songs in the game! jumping around on the buildings reminds me of spiderman 2. i still haven’t completed the jump rope challenge

This, the classic Super Mario Bros theme played by the band and Jump Up Superstar are my favorite themes in the game. All fantastic.

this is probably the last game i truly enjoyed playing and completing 100% in a while. Im sad that i wont enjoy another one like this in a long time

I want Super Mario Galaxy 3 more than anything. Metroid Prime 4 + SMG3 + Mario Maker 2 (which is out) = me getting a Switch

I've never really understood why so many people say they want Galaxy 3, is it just because of the space motif? Really it was just like any 3D Mario apart from that and a lot of the gravity type stuff has carried over into other Mario games since. Not sure what a 3rd game in that series would give you. I'd rather just have a new 3D Mario with a different mechanic and style

@VegaPhil they're my least favourite mario games, because everything felt like unrelated bits and pieces. But maybe that was the appeal for a lot of people, something completely different behind every corner! (That And I imagine it's a lot of peoples first mario.....And It's in SPACE!.... )

@TheCrazyNintendoMan ! There's only so many times you can do the same shit before it gets old though i.e NSMB series. I'm also assuming you know why Galaxy 2 even exists in the first place so realistically speaking they're not going to go back to the space theme anytime soon, honestly a remake of sunshine is more likely than a Galaxy 3.

The Switch entry wasn't even a new attempt, just a port of the WiiU entry; sheesh, Nintendo. Galaxy hasn't gotten there yet, LET THERE BE A THIRD GAME. DO IT. DOOOOOOOOOOOOO IIIIIIIIIIIIITT!!!!!!
