A retro-futuristic, '80s game where you drive your car around various obstacles to some nice beats playing. A lot of games have been using this kind of setting but since I love it myself, I have yet to be tired of it. It helps that the music is usually awesome.

It's like every "80's aesthethic" game out there has the same exact synthwave song. Far from me to criticize the genre or how repetitive it can be but it can't help being annoyed at how every "retro" soundtrack has a biteless, bassline-less retro electro track that doesn't ever try to go above being decent. I'm probably being a whiner though, it's still fun music to listen to.

The Outrun aesthetic was always great, and it's nice to see it reinventing itself and defining a decade. Check out Muse's Simulation Theory music video album, it's got Terry Crews and looks amazing.
