I should really continue with this series at some point. I loved the first trilogy and this game ended on such a perfect high note that it will feel weird to go back to more normal, standard cases. It's a pretty bad excuse though, I'll certainly play the rest at some point. This theme is aptly named and helps make some key moments even more memorable and emotional.

@Cunningman45 Yea I thought it was, and while not necessary I'd also recommend each game's DLC case too Dual Destinies has the better of the two but the one in Spirit of Justice is pretty great fanservice for those that played the original trilogy

The best game they made after the original trilogy is AAI2, so make sure you don't skip it and play the fan-translation. :)

Believe me Supra, the other games are as high quality as T&T (especially SoJ and AAI2), play them someday please.

@Stocke I agree, AAI2 and SoJ are both amazing. AAI2 is probably my favorite AA game, followed by SoJ and then T&T. Too bad AAI2 was never released outside of Japan.

Also if you can, play the Investigations games, specially the second one, there are some translation patches out there, it's one of the best in the whole series

This game is so good. One of the best in the series, possibly even the best. I hope we get a return to Ace Attorney one day.

My favourite from the original trilogy, such a great game. But Gyakuten Kenji 2 is still superior for me, can`t believe I`m saying this.

Every time I play an AA game, it surprises me and surpasses the one before it. Dual Destinies blew me away with its final case and I'd honestly have a hard time picking out a favourite between T&T, AJ, and DD. Here's hoping SoJ is just as good or, dare I say it, better.

This part put something of a lump in my throat. All the stuff Godot did for Maya's sake, man... Damn the justice system. #FreeGodot

Godot didn't realy do it for Maya's sake. As he said, if he was realy doing it for her, he would have told Phoenix. He cared about her, but he mainly did it for himself. He wanted to prove that he was capable of saving her himself. And he also wanted revenger. That's what makes him such a tragic character. He is not a bad guy, but he is definitely not entirely a good guy. He is a grey character.

I guarantee you will looooove the 2nd trilogy. I know I did. :) This game is definitely a tough act to follow, but I believe Dual Destinies manages to be just as good, if not better.

When you do get to the later games, you'll appreciate the huge jump in quality for the soundtracks, especially with Dual Destinies. It's one of my all time favorite VGM soundtracks.

One of my favorites series of all time. I discovered PW on my DS and wow how hooked I was with every game, never played anything like it at the time, you could feel every case as if you were there.
