This version of the game had great graphics for the PSP while maintaining a smooth 60 fps, as well as the great music and car handling you would expect from this series. It's too bad the game itself was bare bones with its lack of campaign and progression, I'm still not sure why they did that. They probably thought they could get away with it since it's a handheld entry, but it really ended up hurting the game's reception.

I would say so, but I was especially into the series during the PS1 era. It's been hard to find enough free time to spend on sim racers now, unfortunately.

Gran Turismo Series is better than NFS Payback
Well, if you think GT vs NFS (Series), both are good, but GT (Series) vs NFS (1 game) you cant compare them, because Payback sucks
Dude NFS is not even realistic racing. You should compare GT to Forza. You should know which is better.

Still get surprised with how good the soundtracks for generic racers can be, Yummy Trip is no exception. Those guitar licks are tasty
Gran Turismo is definitely the most far from āgenericā you can get in terms of these kind of racing games, although the PSP instalment was a bit shitty
