Not to bring down today's shooters, but I miss when these games back in the 90s were all about speed with great and intricate level design full of secrets. Games like Doom, Duke Nukem, Quake, etc. That's why it was such a nice surprise to play this game, I felt right at home. The 30+ levels throughout the 3 Acts offer some of the best level design I've seen in a shooter and I just love how levels rarely overstay their welcome thanks to their perfect length. It starts nice enough but it just keeps getting better, offering some surprisingly memorable moments. The simple 3D graphics only help to give you that 90s throwback and the shooting feels perfect. Pure fun.

Ay, this got posted on my Bday! Cheers! Fun Fact: The demo's for this song accidentally came out in the groove of "deep in the code" from OG Doom. I of course changed it lol.

Noice! Wish I had played these games back in the day. I've played some recent remakes or sequels that were screwed up

Thank you SupraDarky to put games i never played or never heard about like grandia or secret of evermore and now i love it so again thank you, and i discover a lot of games because of you, keep going ;)

Just recently played through this game and I cannot recommend it enough. If you enjoyed classic Doom, Quake, Duke Nukem, etc, you absolutely have to play Dusk. It fully earns the right to stand next to its influences as a solid addition to the late 90s/early 2000s shooter, albeit 20 years late to the party.
