It wasn't enough that this place was challenging, they had to add this creepy theme. I really thought we would have Pikmin 4 by now, but hopefully it's the kind of game Nintendo reveals and then announces it's coming out 6 months later.

I feel there’s something wrong with Pikmin 4 behind the scenes. Now it’s not often that we get a new game in the franchise, I understand that, but Pikmin 4 was announced years ago and Miyamoto (or some other dev, I forgot) even said in an interview that it was even close to completion. Keep in mind that this was said about a couple months or a year after Pikmin 3 came out. It’s just baffling that Nintendo has been silent about Pikmin for such a long time that it causes worry. Have we gotten no info because of the poor response of Hey Pikmin, the niche reputation of the franchise, or because the game is secretly in development hell? Either way you look at it, it’s just concerning.
I agree. Miyamoto was asked about Pikmin 4 the next two years, but all he said was that he wasn't allowed to say anything about it. Most likely it's kind of a hostage situation until Nintendo sees the "right" time to announce it. It could also be taking this long because it was developed for Wii U and it might have been had to be rebuilt from the ground up for the Switch.
I can guarantee you that Pikmin 4 ended up as Hey Pikmin!! for the 3DS.
And I can assure you it is not, for Miyamoto commented on Pikmin 4's progress AFTER Hey! Pikmin had come out. The only thing we know is that it's in development without a proper announcement.

Alfonso ST Ok, I obviously need to clarify myself; I already know about chugga’s Pikmin 2 LP. I’ve watched it twice. The point I was trying to ask was if he is going to remake the LP like he did with Earthbound.
