  This game is often seen as the weakest in the series, but it might actually be my favorite. I only played the first 3 though because I really felt burned after going through Bowser's Inside Story, which a lot of people find is the best one. Funny how that goes! What's for sure, this game has my favorite soundtrack in the M&L series.

  lol funny you say that because my absolute favorite is Dream Team, which is the only one you haven't played XD Skip Paper Jam, though..

  @Loose Goose numerous unskipable tutorials are present until the very last hour of the game. It ruined the flow of the game for me.

  I can’t decide if Partners in Time is my favorite or Bowser’s Inside Story. I tend to lean towards Partners in Time more though since I loved its world, narrative, and battle system. I thought Dream Team was good, but it just overstayed its welcome, and Paper Jam was just annoying with all the rescue missions to me.

  Oh wow, I got a bit burned out after inside story too, after having partner's in time be my favorite one. Hadn't seen until now someone with the same story. I don't know what it is, but inside story was just lacking the sort of charm that superstar saga and partners in time had for me. I wonder if somehow the setting itself was less able to draw me in.

  This was the first I ever beat, followed by Inside Story and Superstar Saga (screw Cackletta). Also happens to be the one I've replayed the most, and it never gets old.

  Was saddened that Bowser's inside story got a 3ds remake and this game was left untouched

  This game was a beast. The first of the series I played back then. The story is the second best in the franchise after bowsers inside story. Paper Jam can fuck itself in the grave. Good night guys.

  The most depressing Toad Town ever. I do quite enjoy this game, but it is my second-least favorite in the series (never played Paper Jam). I like it better than Dream Team, though. PiT is very linear, but I think DT really dragged on after a while. It's unfortunate that Nintendo decided to not make a remake for PiT.
