I'm far from having played all the games in this series, but I always find them to be in the solid 8/10 territory. Nothing mind blowing, but great when you want that jRPG fix. Eternia, Symphonia and Vesperia are my 3 favorites so far, but I really want to give Berseria a shot. I think Tales of Legendia is the only game I actually didn't like at all. One thing's for sure... it's easy to get lost with all these titles.

tales of the abyss is one of my faves, but im not sure how well it has aged..

I found after xilla it went sooo downhill. Can’t stand Berseria but symphonia, abyss and vesperia are my top 3.

Tales of the Abyss is my favorite game. The soundtrack in it is really great. Highly recommend it.

Well, I know everyone pretty much hated Tales of Legendia, but I still really love the characters and the soundtrack for that game. That and Senel being able to suplex and body slam monsters with his arts.

Tales of Symphonia is my favorite game over all the other games. I really love this game, the character's, the plot, and the soundtrack... It's perfect to me. Now i have finished the game for the 8 time. And it's time to prove the other Tales of games, I've heard good things from them.

Played Tales of Xillia recently. Very fun game once you are into it. Never played this because it's on Xbox and Japan only PS3 iirc I agree that Legendia was kind of meh. Tales of the Abyss and Tales of Symphonia are must plays though if you are into JRPGs.
