I have the opinion where this is where the entire sage for MGS ended here. Yeah, all the side games were fun before Konami decided the hated being a game developer, but it truly was the end of a sage and then finally all of us wanted.
One sage ended, but a different parsley began.
I used to loop this for days...... great track and great series. Thanks Kojima and Harry Gregson-Williams!
I'm sure a lot of his music is great but this was...so boring :/. Like, most of the track was just one note every now and again.

Glad to see you finally added this masterpiece to your VGM collection. MGS4 is an amazing game, the shitty love stories of it not withstanding. It needed way more gameplay in Act 3 and 5, but it's still fantastic. The best gameplay in the series, because it removes the MGS3 healing system that requires you to go through the menu too much, adds octocamo and crouch walking, and has the rations and other stuff from MGS2.
This game holds so much for me... It's what prompted me getting the ps3 back in 2008. I bought the collection for the ps2 and played through all of them right before buying this. It was worth it all. The time and money spent on this series is something I will never forget or regret. Thank you Supra for stirring up these emotions and memories again!
Video games have changed. Its not about being fun or having a compelling story anymore.

God, talk about a fuckin song. MGS4 has issues, but the final boss is amazing. Bless this series.

Seeing Richard Doyle as Big Boss during the credits blew my mind. Not because of Richard Doyle, but because I knew something amazing was about to happen, since we thought Big Boss was "dead" the whole game. To me, it's still one of the greatest games ever made.
Irony Richard Doyle voices The Fury who used a flamethrower before he voiced Big Boss and Big Boss was defeated with a flamethrower lol I guess Big Boss was defeated by fire and himself lmao
10 years of this game... sounds like yesterday. Good memories... Kojima era in MGS franchise forever, today the franchise is DEAD without him, period.

Sweet. I had this song stuck in my head last week from nostalgia and put it on my MP3 recently. It's a shame Kojima had to abandon the series but all good things must come to an end.

Kojima not being involved with Metal Gear Solid anymore is the end of the golden era of the franchise. There are some game series that simply cannot be the same without their creators, I can also think of Silent Hill/Team Silent or Final Fantasy/Sakaguchi. It's just not the same anymore. Metal Gear Survive is obviously a side-game and I'm wondering if Konami will ever bother trying to make a real entry. You had a good run Snake.
Let's hope Death Stranding lives up to its potential. It'll be interesting to see how a Kojima game without Konami's involvement will be.

Kojima didn't make the MGS games great on his own. KojiPro was filled with talented individuals from top to bottom, and their combined might gave us these great games. Kojima may have been the face and voice of the series, but without worker ants, a queen ant doesn't amount to much.
All Konami needs is passion. If the developers that Kojima left behind at the company can muster any genuine interest and love for the series then we might actually see some amazing results. I mean, look at Kirby. The series creator, Masahiro Sakurai, has little to no involvement with most of the titles and yet it managed to maintain its quality standards and far surpass it in some cases.

SupraDarky I hope they don't try to make a real entry. If Kojima thinks it's time to let Metal Gear end, then it's time
